WE WERE JUST HAPPY TO BE HOME AGAIN , BUT IT HAS GONE DOWN HILL A BIT , BUT HAD A GREAT TIME CATCHING UP WITH FRIENDS AND TALKING OLD TIMES . WE HAD OUR WEDDING RECEPTION THERE 42 YEARS AGO PROBABLY NOT OF MUCH INTEREST TO OTHER TRAVELLERS WHY WE WERE THERE . BUT LOVED IT , WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN FOR LONGER . FOOD , STAFF , ROOMS WERE ALL EXCELLENT

We ate dinner and had drinks at the hotel restaurant which was good, but not great, and it was reasonably priced. The gardens to the rear of the hotel were beautifully maintained, ideal for weddings. Breakfast in the morning was lovely with plenty choice and self service. Lots of juices, toast, cereals as well the fry up options. Complimentary spa access to Bowfield is also a huge bonus.
