This was a last minute stay after being let down by another hotel. The staff were very welcoming and extremely friendly - it was a very nice hotel and close enough to get to the airport early in the morning.

WE WERE JUST HAPPY TO BE HOME AGAIN , BUT IT HAS GONE DOWN HILL A BIT , BUT HAD A GREAT TIME CATCHING UP WITH FRIENDS AND TALKING OLD TIMES . WE HAD OUR WEDDING RECEPTION THERE 42 YEARS AGO
PROBABLY NOT OF MUCH INTEREST TO OTHER TRAVELLERS WHY WE WERE THERE . BUT LOVED IT , WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN FOR LONGER . FOOD , STAFF , ROOMS WERE ALL EXCELLENT
A beautiful 19th century building, well maintained and adapted for hotel use. The rooms were large, very clean and well appointed. The en suite bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. We ate dinner and had drinks at the hotel restaurant which was good, but not great, and it was reasonably priced. The gardens to the rear of the hotel were beautifully maintained, ideal for weddings. Ample parking was available.
The hotel is in a very well taken care of building and the room was nice and big in the corner, with two windows. It was so brilliantly decorated and taken care of. Comfortable bed and well laid out bathroom. Good and diverse breakfast choice. Staff was helpful and welcoming. The restaurant for dinner had good choices and alright prices. Great hotel that I'd love to go back to.
The rooms were really nice, comfortable. Big shower which was powerful and warm! Breakfast in the morning was lovely with plenty choice and self service. Lots of juices, toast, cereals as well the fry up options. Complimentary spa access to Bowfield is also a huge bonus. The grounds of the hotel were gorgeous as well. Nice place for a walk at night or sitting on the swings.
I was part of a wedding party. Andrew the wedding co-ordinator was amazing, so friendly and helpful, the bar staff were excellent too. Some of the check in staff could have been more friendly and the transition of the room from morning to afternoon could have been better however overall the hotel is stunning and a perfect setting for a wedding
Lovely location & great staff..
Nice outdoor seating and pretty garden.
All staff were really attentive, helpful, professional and friendly. Great bar area and breakfast.
Loved that we could use great spa/pool area for free at nearby hotel.
Near to train station which is then 15 mins to Glasgow central.
The hotel and staff were exceptional. Very good location within short driving distance from airport. The room was very high standard, clean, very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very kind and the hotel restaurant had great food. Highly recommended !
Beautiful luxurious hotel with an amazing staff who aim to please. A hidden gem only minutes from Glasgow Airport. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We'll definitely stay there again when in the area.
Room was quite spacious and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. We had a late check-in and the staff were very good. Breakfast was good but very limited cereals and no porridge in a Scottish hotel ?
This hotel is 2 grand homes that have been joined together. We stayed in a living room with a lovely fireplace. They have built a very nice bathroom with a rain shower in the corner. Very nice place
Well presented, comfortable room. Very easily accessible location with generous car parking on site.
Hotel is set in very well maintained gardens.
Great breakfast with options for everyone.
Lovely flat - perfect if travelling to the airport (short drive away ~5 miles), and can easily get to this flat by bus from the city centre. Brilliant breakfast. Much better than a hotel.
It's a very understated hotel. The rooms, staff, location, grounds, breakfast, spa, cocktails, outside seating area, value for money, in fact everything is very good!
Our room was spotless and the food was amazing but the service from staff - particularly Deborah was what really made our stay. A real credit to the hotel. Thankyou
I’ve travelled all over Scotland over the years and this hotel has to be one of the best I’ve stayed in… The bed, food and the staff were absolutely amazing 🤩
