Booked this place for Aussie in-laws who came to visit. Simon at the desk was very friendly and helpful. He helped sort the heating out and kept the kitchen open just a little bit later as we missed our arrival time by a little bit. Very informative on local history. Great for a 1 night stay :)

View from pod over sea and the quirky nature of the pods. The environmental impact of the pods and products have been very well maintained

A lovely quiet location ideally situated for walking with many trails to choose from literally just outside the front door. Stunning surroundings and an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing, good standard of food in and around the local area but within easy reach of the main motorways.
The Hood Arms, The Farmers Arms, The Lamb Inn are highly recommended. Walks to the Quantock Hills, Holford Combe and Kilve Beach are lovely walks to consider. Creams teas at the nearby Combe Hotel are also not to be missed.

Holford is a really pretty village and an ideal base to explore the Quantocks. The village has a friendly pub, The Plough Arms which offers good value food and there is a hotel, Combe House where we had afternoon tea in the garden.

The property was very good and the surroundings and furnishings were top quality.
It would be very difficult to get to the hotel without transport as it is about a mile off the main road, down a single track road and very remote. If you like peace and quiet and solitude it would be ideal.
Good quiet location Lovely history with the property and surrounding buildings.
Welcoming and friendly greeting and hospitality, plus the evening meal was perfect.
It was nice to have the interactions with other guests, rather than the cold corporate type hotel stiffness.
I would highly recommend.
Staff were so friendly, welcoming and smiley. Hotel decor was fabulous and comfortable, nice bar with good beer, fabulous rose wine and lovely food, dinner, afternoon tea and breakfast! Great location, lovely bathroom and comfy bed.
Quirky hotel, low beams in bedroom, maze with stairs and little corridors. Bed really comfortable with lovely bedding. Walk in shower. Lovely grounds. Excellent continental breakfast ( cooked additional cost).
We couldn’t fault anything about this hotel! The best part was the building and the lovely rooms… this is one of the best places we have stayed and great value for money! The outside area is just lovely too …
The hotel is a lovely building in a charming location. We have stayed here before but were very disappointed this time.
We went out for dinner with our family who live locally which was very enjoyable.
