We stayed in one of the inn rooms (these are separate from the pub bit - there are no rooms within the actual pub/inn) which was large and nicely furnished. Wifi was good, but you do have to switch between different wifi networks as you move from the rooms to the pub to the leisure centre.
The walk-in shower in the bedroom was excellent - very powerful, and the room was clean.
The food at the Gamekeeer's Inn restaurant was also excellent, and breakfast was also tasty, but disappointing that hot chocolate is not included in the breakfast menu, and you'd have to pay for that separately if you don't want tea, coffee or juices.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.

The one night breakaway for husbands birthday was excellent, great location free parking and hotel top class. The food was lovely and presented well loved the sharing platters for someone like me who once orders wishes they had what another person has the staff very attentive and knowledgeable hotel so clean and deco lovely and we were in one of there 'standard' rooms but use that term loosely as room beautifully decorated and comfortable and more than adequate. I sat in square the next morning and watched an army of staff getting the place ready for the day cleaning all of the outside space and sitting area to make this the outstanding hotel it is.
