The family I travelled with were adults. They had a separate room. I asked on arrival for a room with a stand up shower rather than/or in addition to a bathtub. (I'd like that to be a filter on your booking format). The only room the could give me was a "family room" which was large and included a set of bunk beds we did not need. The mattress on our bed could be improved upon. The bathroom was nice but small.
There was an elevator but it was very slow and tiny. The carpet went half way up the walls of the elevator and we did not feel it was very clean.
The young lady on the front desk when we arrived and was on again during our stay was without any welcoming personality. Just stated what we needed to pay for breakfast and parking.
My family members had a room with a tub in the bathroom. It was spacious and comfortable. They used the pool and gym which they said was very nice. We did not use any spa services.
The breakfast buffet was good and the dining room staff very nice, friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there one night and it was good. The bar had a lovely big coffee machine but apparently the bar tender couldn't work it as I was told a decaff latte was possible and then it wasn't because he didn't know how.
I feel for the price, the breakfast should be included and also the parking. It adds a lot to the cost especially when renting two rooms.
Locationwise it's easy to get to but there are no shops or coffee shops/bakeries etc near the hotel.
There was a bus tour staying at the hotel when we were there. They seemed to be well looked after. However, later in the season this could possibly make the hotel very busy. There were relatively few other guests when we were there so we had no trouble parking etc. The parking is at the back and the only way in is the front door with steps so if carrying luggage is an issue might not work well for some people.
This 3-star Victorian hotel is set high on Bournemouth's East Cliff offers beautiful sea views, gardens and a leisure club. Frederick's Restaurant is set against the striking backdrop of the sea.
A perfect location for a lovely stay in Sandbanks.
A perfect location for a lovely stay in Sandbanks. The apartment was super clean and the decor was very modern. Every room was perfect and we all slept well in our super comfortable beds.
Our host Mark was always available via phone and we appreciate all the support he provided us during our stay.

Lots of places to eat and drink, but make sure that you book. A good choice of boat trips. If you are going to Sandbanks, walk or go by bus, we walked there and got a bus back, there were long queues for parking

Very close to Poole town and the Poole Quay.
Very close to Poole town and the Poole Quay. There are plenty of places to eat, catering for a range of tastes. A good range of pubs. I ate in a pub on the High Street as the Quay was very busy and seating was limited.
