The one night breakaway for husbands birthday was excellent, great location free parking and hotel top class. The food was lovely and presented well loved the sharing platters for someone like me who once orders wishes they had what another person has the staff very attentive and knowledgeable hotel so clean and deco lovely and we were in one of there 'standard' rooms but use that term loosely as room beautifully decorated and comfortable and more than adequate. I sat in square the next morning and watched an army of staff getting the place ready for the day cleaning all of the outside space and sitting area to make this the outstanding hotel it is.

The perfect B & B! Wonderful hosts Lynette and Dave are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay special. The rooms are spotlessly clean, location is quiet and a short walk into Grassington with lots of places to eat. Breakfast is amazing, beds are comfy, shower is good, and Lynette's home baked treats are a delight. Truly a great place to stay.

. The property is slightly unusual as it is a hotel room with no reception on site. However it works really well. The communication is excellent and directions for access are easy to follow and comprehensive. The room was slightly on the small side but extremely clean with good facilities. The location is perfect for the village of Grassington and the availability of free parking was a major bonus. Some reviews have mentioned the lack of breakfast at the property but as there are some wonderful cafes in Grassington we preferred having breakfast somewhere different each morning

Lovely quiet hotel comfy bed and gorgeous breakfast. Had 2 Evening meals both very gd. Staff very friendly. Surrounding area very pretty we walked to Lindon Falls a 15 minutes. Only downside no parking at hotel and we went bank holiday weekend. There is parking in the square but used up quickly so have to walk to main road to park.Jeninifer - 10Scored 10

Off season the parking is tight but not impossible, there are several pubs and cafes to choose from. From Pies to fine dining. The gift shops and independent book shop makes a rainy weekend fun. The start of hikes for all abilities. The visitors center at Linten falls is a great way to start your walk. Affordable parking, short stay or overnight.

Wonderful village with excellent amenities and ideal for scenic walks followed by food! great range of cafes, pubs, hotels, fish and chips and a variety of shops. Only slight niggle is the parking is slightly expensive at £3.50 for 2 hrs or £5.50 all day - although card machines were easy to use. Spacious and comfortable room with view over the marketplace. The flower boxes outside the window were a nice touch. Had blooms even in february. The first night in the bar saw an impromptu collection of guitarists jamming together. We enjoyed singing along. The second night was an old fashioned paper quiz which we also enjoyed. The view from the window/garden was tranquil and spectacular. The hosts were kind enough to put milk, cold water and cans of Coke in the fridge, as well as biscuits and crisps on the table. We spent three evenings sitting on the patio area admiring the beauty that is the Yorkshire Dales. We would recommend the Escape to all who want peace and quiet.JohnUnited Kingdom

Then went for a walk then back for some Guinness, something to eat, then shower bed ready for a new day. Grassington is truly a beautiful spot, lovely helpful locals, great fish shop next door to you, you have a great hotel and like Schwarzenegger the actor ( I'll be back ) but in my case it's we!! The staff were really friendly and helpful, and very accommodating of our travelling with a dog. The food was outstanding - congratulations to the chef, and the breakfast menu was extensive. Very comfortable room that even had proper plunger coffee and not just Nescafe sachets. I would highly recommend dining and staying here.
