The location is perfect…….totally private and quiet. Very clean room The bar area is very small and the drawing room is small……however if you’re looking for a private venue for your wedding ( so you take over the whole place) then this is perfect!

Eshott Hall is a beautiful, relaxing blend of genuine old and modern. The food was excellent, top-notch, and always so very well presented. All the above was brilliant but the icing was the high quality of staff. Nothing at all to grumble or complain about.

The house was beautiful, spacious and clean, the grounds pleasant to walk round and all very dog friendly. The breakfast had a good selection of full English or Continental and all very well cooked. We ate our evening meal at the Old Boat house in Amble which I highly recommend. Eshott is easy enough to find and is a very picturesque little village.

Eshott is a very nice place to visit. The staff, accommodation and food were first class. No internet connection in Eshott grange house though. We heard other guests saying the same thing. This would not stop us from visiting again though

Beautiful location in an old hall.

Beautiful location in an old hall. Our Sea-Biscuit Room was excellent with a huge bathroom with shower enclosure. A spa bath would have been an added luxury but you cant have everything, similarly the room would have benefited from a king sized, even a super king size bed and there would have still been loads of room. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent - we did not eat in the hotel at night so am unable to make a comment but if the food was as good as it was at breakfast then I am sure it will be excellent. Selection of wines and bottled beers available at usual prices for hotel of this quality. No spa or gym on site but I believe the RPG's sister hotel at Doxford has these facilities so may try that next year.

We loved our room which had a view over the walled garden. Unfortunately up a flight of stairs, but we coped. Our first night's dinner was good but on the subsequent nights, dinner was served in a rather bleak hall which was not as cozy. Perfect location for exploring nearby attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, the puffins and Holy Isle. No parking issues and easy access to our rooms.

The house itself was beautiful, and our room (Versailles) huge and well decorated. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately the restaurant was out of action for the night of our visit, but the provision of a free taxi service to a local gastro pub was a thoughtful touch that made up for some of our disappointment at missing dining at the hotel.

Eshott Hall is beautifully located in quiet surroundings. The rooms are large, sumptuous and warm. The staff are amazing, you get a lovely warm greeting and nothing is a bother to them in order to make you feel special and enjoy your stay. Amazing menu with food that does nothing short of dazzling the palette. Could not fault anything.

Eshott Hall is a beautiful, old style hotel. I visited in a quiet time and was thrilled to get a free upgrade - with a bath in the huge room. Lovely old furniture, spacious rooms. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. And an enormous Craster kipper for breakfast. Wished I'd booked more than one night!

Walking in to the hotel you can’t help but be impressed with everything about it. The grandeur, the location…if only the walls could talk. The food was excellent, rooms sumptuous and staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The dog-friendly room was quiet, set apart from the main hotel and extremely comfortable. The room was first class even though, apparently due to Covid, linen, towels and coffee-making items, were not replaced or replenished during our 4 day stay.
