We were absolutely blown away by how beautiful the property and the home was right from the start. We pulled in and with some helpful directions mentioned in advance from the host, we found the place right away. Being there felt like we were in a movie or something, it is SO quiet and serene. We were met immediately by Marsaili, who was BEYOND nice and accommodating, we were made to feel like a part of the family right away. The house and our room/bathroom were perfectly taken care of and we just couldn't get over how gorgeous the whole property and home was. The cat, Lucy, was adorable and cuddly and is still one of my highlights of my trip for me, such a sweetheart! Our time here was too short at only two nights, I wanted to move in and stay forever! We didn't eat any food because of scheduling conflicts with traveling early in the morning etc. but her dining room was set up to perfection and the most AMAZING view out of the windows and I am sure the food was delicious. This was our favorite stay by far out of our 3 week UK + Ireland adventure, it was flawless. Thank you so much to Marsaili for hosting us and making our trip so special!

The view of Loch Ness from our room and from the restaurant was excellent.
The breakfast was excellent, and I really appreciate the veggie full Scottish option. Veggie haggis was a treat.
The staff were competent, friendly and welcoming.
The packed lunch they prepared was superb also.

I loved the size of the room and the host was easy to get ahold of and the check in process was at my own leisure. The property perfectly marked and it was easy to find and the host sent directions as well.

Not the largest place we’ve visited, it’s on the less busy side of Loch Ness so very quiet, with one restaurant so book early if you want an evening meal.
The food was good and the price very reasonable
Location incredible. 100 feet from the edge of Loch Ness. All rooms have balconies looking out over the loch. Warm and comfy. Big rooms. Short 10 minute drive to the village of Dorrs where the The Dorrs Inn (right on the lake) serve local produce including a good haggis. Accommodation provides self service continental breakfast. They also provide high end frozen meals for those who may not want to travel to the pub in the village, just pop in the microwave. Lovely staff. Fly fishing free from the shore, caught a fish.
Perfect peaceful setting yet easy access to Inverness and surrounding area. Delightful , huge room with stunning views of the countryside . Breakfast room also had fabulous views . Guest lounge to relax in after sightseeing. Knowledgeable friendly host who even took us to and from local inn . Fabulous find and perfect for a few mindful days away from the stresses of everyday life . Lots to see within an hour of the area and more beyond . Highly recommend and will definitely return .
Everything. The care Marsalli puts in to the home and her guests is next level. I wish we could have stayed for a week. Our room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal (may I recommend the porridge?) and the animals all over the farm and house were a welcome treat. If you’re looking for a warm, Scottish country experience close to Inverness and all it offers, you must stay here.
We had a lovely couple if days. The host family are all extremely friendly inviting you into their beautiful home as if you are a relative. The room was gorgeous, well-equipped, clean, spacious with a comfy bed for a great nights sleep. The location is delightful just a short distance from Loch Ness and surrounded by amazing scenery. I thoroughly recommend staying here.
The most wonderful B&B tucked in the middle of the forests and only few miles from Loch Ness. Fantastic location and the most gorgeous road leading up to it. We wish we stayed there longer! Gorgeous decor in the lounge and the room, and just the friendliest hosts. Breakfast was fab too as were the doggos! Cannot recommend enough.
Beautiful location, good sized rooms with a breathtaking view. Exceptionally clean and made to feel welcome by host. A gem of a stay nestled in the iconic landscape of Loch Ness.
Truly a welcomed break, inviting in the romance of the highlands and extinguishing the thoughts of the rat race!
This place was wonderful, super comfortable and immaculate. The owner/hostess was helpful, friendly and just fantastic. Close to Loch Ness, but just off the beaten path enough to be perfect. Excellent breakfast and the room was exquisite. I wish I could give it even more stars than 10.
The room was in immaculate condition. The host was charismatic and knows her stuff around. She provided some fascinating tidbits about the history of the place and the loch in general. The food and the views at nearby pub Dores Inn is also highly recommended.
I loved the location on Loch Ness with a gorgeous view of the lake! The breakfast was all delicious with good delicious coffee prepared! The owners are also super friendly and informative about the area! I very much enjoyed our morning chats over breakfast!
This is a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful house within easy distance to Loch Ness and Inverness. Marcie is a very friendly, accommodating host. Very nice and chilled vibe. And finally, beautiful spacious rooms with great views.
The location was perfect, right on Loch Ness for Nessie spotting. The room was comfortable and clean, well-appointed and functional. It was very quiet and tranquil.
Our host, John, could not have been more friendly or helpful.
The location is serene and just nestled in a peaceful pocket of Dores. Overlooking the Loch. The birds chirping and the calmness of the place is unreal.
Good heating and decent breakfast.
Best B&B ever!
The location near Dores is perfect. The view over the Loch is incredible. The property is exceptionally clean and the rooms are very comfortable with all facilities catered for. It’s wonderful.
Great suggestions for the local area (dinner at Dores Inn), incredible porridge for breakfast, very comfortable room and the hosts were extremely nice. Much nicer than a generic hotel!
Great location. Away from the crowds but only 10 minutes drive to Loch Ness and Dores where you can find a nice inn for dinner. The host is very friendly.
