Perfect for an overnight stop - we were confused that we were not in the main hotel but was shown the rooms the opposite side of the street and the room was very nice with tea and coffee making facilities. It was not a problem. Staff were very helpful. And very close to restaurants for an evening meal

We loved everything, from a very second of our arrival to the last second of our departure.
This is the place where hospitality and professionalism are exquisite.
The rooms are superb, luxurious in real meaning, and attention to detail is impeccable.
Restaurant was magnificent , food seasonal and local, perfectly portioned, cooking techniques exciting yet not gimmicky. Service staff was spotless, service simless, and the atmosphere enjoyable.
As a frequent traveller, places like this one are very,VERY hard to find.
The team of the La Nauve, thank you!

We found the hotel by chance and made a late booking. The hotel feels as if it is the middle of the countryside and yet it is very close to the centre of Cognac. Surrounded by gardens there are gypsy type caravans, cabins on stilts and little studio type appartments to stay in as well as normal hotel rooms. There is a swimming pool and the whole complex is on the banks of the river. The breakfast in a conservatory attached to the main building was excellent. There are conference type facilities and space for weddings or similar. We wish we could have stayed longer. It is an enchanting place in a beautiful area well worth the overnight stop we were making. There is secure parking. Finally there is an Italian restaurant (La Scala) within walking disance across the river with a decor worthy of a film set! Food was good too!

Cognac is a very nice town and the surroundings too.
Cognac is a very nice town and the surroundings too. Visitors should go on a tasting tour at Martell and visit the castle of King François first. The distilleries tours are friendly and you will get a lot of infos about the amazing Cognac.
The old town is worth a visit especially the Couvent des Récollets and the churches.
If you have some time don’t hesitate to stroll near the Charente River. There is a five stars hotel named “les chais Jean Monnet” amazingly renovated and don’t miss a lunch or dinner at the restaurant. A true fantastic experience.

Full of charm and character. Great size to visit the town on foot and feel that there is enough to see. We did one of the Cognac houses tour and tasting (Hennessy 2 hours) and enjoyed a meal at Les Chais Monnet, perfect little escapade.

We visited the tourist information centre, but we’re only told about the expensive brandy distillery tours, although there are free tours available outside the town, as well as one near the park.
Restaurants seemed to be overpriced.
To be fair, it was a grey, windy day in November when we visited, so we didn’t see it in its best light.

Meukow Cognac House in particular!
The ‘ Garage Bar and Restaurant is superb with live music on Thursday and Saturday! Good food and Beverages plus very friendly Staff! Get in there!!😂👍
Our second visit to Cognac and we shall return!
Note! Wear shoes which have rubber soles as the cobbles and large paving blocks are ‘ time worn ‘ and slippery! The selection of Shops, Bars and Restaurants is excellent!
This house was located a bit outside Cognac in an area a bit difficult to locate and maneuver in. The property itself was newly renovated and in general overall nice. A few minor upgrades would be recommendable for instance your relatively large backyard covered with grass is nice but feels a bit " unloved " I would recommend you to plant cypresses along the wall towards your neighbour this would change this area completely and make it a lot more inviting especially for families with children.
We loved our stay in this beautiful house, very close to the town centre. The host was so friendly and welcoming and looked after us very well. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was served outside and was plentiful and fresh. We couldn’t have wished for a better overnight stay in Cognac, will definitely return.

Very spacious apartment, beautifully decorated and centrally located near the shops and restaurants. Also working short walking distance to the big Cognac houses, making going to the tours really easy. Well equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, hob, washing machine.
Spacious apartment with a nice roof terrace in the center of Cognac. We stayed here with our two kids for 2 nights, the living room is so large that you can keep the sofa bed unfolded. Definitely a good option if you are staying in Cognac!
We frequently use Ibis Cognac for the location, ease of parking. It is not splendid but you get what you pay for. The Staff and management are always polite and efficient. Always a smile and a cheery hello!
Friendly staff, well situation in the centre of Cognac, comfortable bed and very clean room and bathroom. We had a very quiet room in the back of the hotel through an enclosed outdoor dining area.
Location was perfect. Right in the center of Cognac
Very big main bed. Facilities were good. Clean property. Host replied very quickly and accommodated our additional needs when requested.
Standard Ibis accommodation, fair price and adequate accomodation. Location is good ,motorcycle parking is in the public car park opposite so no more secure than parking on the street really.
Extremely spacious apartment, comfortable bedroom, lovely terrace, lots of sunlight. For the same price as most hotel rooms nearby, it’s a great deal with much more space.
Beautiful hotel and grounds in a great location. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We have stayed here before and we'll definitely stay again.
I liked just everything about this hotel: staff, location, room, parking, breakfast. Wouldn’t be able to find a single negative thing about this property.
