I didn’t, I’ve stayed there previously some
years ago, and it was very pleasant then.

We liked the old town but the rest of it was very down at heel and disappointing. It may be the that building work on the other side will improve the area but as we were staying in the middle of the works it was very unattractive

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. The ramparts offer a relaxing an interesting walk and the castle and cathedral a bit of culture.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood.
Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

Boulogne-sur-Mer is a small but pleasant town to visit if you want to escape from the busy city life. We visited Nausicaa, the largest aquarium in Europe! It was worth the drive from Holland! That was the main reason for out trip.

This fabulous house has been beautifully restored by the current owners who are charming and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean; the breakfast was plentiful and of a high standard with delicious homemade jams. The old town of Boulogne-sur-Mer is right across the road and a short walk takes you to the port where we had an excellent evening meal in a great restaurant. We only stayed one night on our way back to Calais but would love to return for a longer stay and to explore the area more.
We liked the fact that there were many towels available. The whole apartment is spacious. There is a terrace in the back (where the kitchen is located). There are shutters for making the room dark. The shower cabin inside the bathroom is big. The Wifi is excellent. The apartment has no living quarters on the other side of the street (there are university buidings). The old town centre is on walking distance. The owner was present when we arrived. The apartment is located on the paid parking/ free parking border.
We really liked this hotel for a one night stop over. The view from the room, looking down into Boulogne and to the left of the Cathedral was lovely and a super start to our holiday. The inclusive breakfast was good, varied and plentiful and the ceiling in the breakfast room was beautifully painted with a classical scene. There was free parking across from the hotel and also a large car park further round. There were several restaurants to choose from in the old town under the arch by the Cathedral.
A beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of the old town. The lobby, breakfast room and bedrooms are exceptional. Everything is clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are actually a suite with separate adjoined room for children, a huge bathroom (bubble bath provided) and separate toilet.
Breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want.
We were also able to have a slightly earlier check in. Very polite and helpful staff.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Our room was gorgeous, very well decorated and clean with an extremely comfy bed. The location is ideal - within walking distance of the historic center with free parking nearby. The breakfast was delicious, great selection of local cheeses, charcuterie and fresh bread as well as yoghurt and fruits. This is really a fantastic place to stay if you are looking to visit Boulogne-sur-Mer
Beautifully refurbished to a very high standard. The rooms and whole building was unique, in the old town of Bologne, and steeped in history. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and attentive. They allow access to their private spa area, built into the cellar of their house. This magical enchanted area was a delight to experience, and gave my husband and I a quiet space to relax and unwind from our busy working worlds.
Centrally located - almost at the wall of the old town, places to go to around, old house in good state.
A bit of a steep stair to drag the suite cases but just 1 floor up.
The checkin lady is welcoming enough though uses very little English.
The apartment is extremely well taken care of and nicely decorated. All amenities work well, good bed, good bathroom (could be on a fresh side in the morning).
Lovely, spacious and very stylishly decorated room with a very zen feeling. Perfect location on the town hall square of the old town with free public parking. Plenty of restaurants within a few hundred meters. The host Corinne is incredibly kind and hospitable and provides plenty of information on restaurants etc. in Boulogne and in the surrounding areas.
We were delighted to get a phone call on the morning of our stay inviting us to check in early, which meant we could relax and enjoy the hotel for the whole of our first day. The historical building is beautifully presented and the location in the old town is superb. Excellent breakfast each morning served by lovely, friendly staff.
Very well equipped, clean room with kitchenette. Communication was excellent and parking was available in the street and we paid (after 8.30am) using the parking app. Very close to walk to shops, restaurants and the old town. Highly recommended.
For a budget hotel not bad at all. The staff was friendly, my room was actually quite large and the breakfast was surprisingly good. I also like the liberal cancellation policy. That makes planning easier. I can really recommend this hotel.
Very secure parking area gated and fenced, although it was a small extra charge, there is ample free on street parking in front of hotel. Reasonably short walk to the delights of central Boulogne and historical centre
Top spec chambres d’hotes within the walled old town and with free parking. Our beautiful courtyard room was dog friendly as was the dining room where we enjoyed an excellent breakfast.
Very clean and comfortable room. Ideally situated in Old Town overlooking the park. Perfect for going out in the evening. Free Parking was available close to the apartment.
The location was excellent right in the centre of Boulogne just opposite the walls of the old town and within easy walking distance of the Cathedral and Chateau.
