Oceanfront location with proximity to other services if needed (grocery store, airport, other resort restaurants). Small number of guest cottages/guests on site. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated all of the information provided before we arrived to insure a comfortable and pleasant experience. Excellent snorkeling within a short boat ride from the property.

What a beautiful place! Staff were amazing, location was idyllic and the room was wonderful. The restaurant had incredible specials on the menu every day and the amazing sunsets added to the dinner experience. The staff happily and efficiently organised drivers and whatever we wanted to do while staying on Taveuni. A very close walk to the village that had a couple of supermarkets and the beautiful old Catholic church is also just down the road. A very special place!

Lovely diving resort where we have had the best food ever . The local is staff is very nice, friendly and helpful and they are a true asset of this resort . We loved the variety of food , fresh vegetables, fish and mainly artistic creations of cook in terms of flavours and decorations ,5 stars top experience .
Room was cleaned daily . Bed was comfortable and we have had a very good sleep .
There were optional activities such as husking of coconuts or kawa ceremony which were very interesting. We also had a massage which was great .
Ambiance was nice and facilitated connection with other tourists at the resort .
It was possible to organise paid trips to waterfall and pearl farm . Snorkelling in a house-reef was also very nice (black sand and sometimes it’s good to dive below 0.5m for a better visibility ) . Diving was beautiful with a large variety of colourful corals.
We appreciated a complimentary transport from and to the airport .
In summary we loved our holiday here.

The Dive cafe was a stunning place to eat cake and drink smoothies! Watching the sunset over the water was a daily pilgrimage for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
We often ate at our stay in Maravu Lodge or at the Tramonto restaurant, who served us a very lovely crab dish on our final night.
We snorkelled in Rainbow Reef and hiked in Bouma National Park, both activities of which were organised through our stay at Maravu Taveuni Lodge. Both were thoroughly enjoyable for my girlfriend and I. We also drank kava with local Fijians working at the Lodge and had an intense massage, which was much needed!
