The Hotel was very well located close to the Camino. Our private room was spacious and we had all we needed after a day's walk on the Camino. They had a huge coverd and non covered patio with tables to drink and/or eat something from the bar. A huge cloth line was nearby where you could hang your washed clothes. They provided us with a communal meal in the evening at the cost of Euro 19, which was very much appreciated. The staff worked hard to make us comfortable. We liked that they started serving breakfast at 6:00am so we could start our walk early.
Located near Palencia's centre, AC Hotel Palencia gives you easy access to the neighbouring cities of Valladolid, Burgos and Santander. Enjoy the sauna and Turkish bath after a workout in the gym.

Good hotel for stopover/business. Downstairs has been recently given a facelift, hopefully rooms next.
The Eco-Hotel Doña Mayor, located 600 meters from the emblematic church of San Martín, on the Camino de Santiago, offers individually designed rooms with great charm.

Laura the receptionist gave us such a warm friendly welcome when we arrived soaking wet. She set up a drying rack to dry our shoes. The pellet stove was lighting, it was such a pleasure to come in from the rain to such a warm welcome. Good advice too on where to eat that evening
The reviews I read before booking were misleading.
The reviews I read before booking were misleading. There were no staff and we didn’t get any breakfast
When we arrived we couldn’t get in, there was no one there and the place was in darkness. After driving a long way and it was getting late this was very distressing. We eventually found a tel no and we’re let in. The room was as expected but it was difficult to sleep as we could hear other guests who arrived later, clomping about, snoring etc. We left at 9am, still no one around so no breakfast. I wasn’t sure if we were meant to make it ourselves but I couldn’t find a kettle or cups etc. It ruined the last day of our holiday.

The village is small and exploring doesn’t take long.
The village is small and exploring doesn’t take long. Possibly a base for wider exploration as well as an overnight stopover en route to other places. The Hotel de la Concordia is excellent but the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. Bar Josefina, serving snacks as well as drinks, is noisy but friendly.

This is a good overnight stop on the outskirts of Morzon de Campos. While it is basic, we found it was very clean and quiet, with a large car park outside. A continental breakfast was included in the price and served in the restaurant near reception. The hotel accept dogs at no extra charge. There was a restaurant conveniently situated opposite (although we did not try this). The staff were helpful.
This is a small, simple, spotless and very comfortable hotel. Loved the little garden at the rear with an honesty bar. Bea, the owner, is a wonderful host. Her brother runs an excellent restaurant just across the street. Good breakfast too.
Just a 90min / 2hr drive to/from Santander port. Dog friendly, traditional Spanish hotel, typical decor, home from home atmosphere, very friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean and comfortable, and good value for money.
Breakfast. Was Excellent and great to have the restaurant over the road easy parking outside the hotel, and beautiful walks for the dog by the river a real surprise after a long drive.
Location was delightful hotel in a charming Spanish village; breakfast was above expectations and was served quickly and efficiently by very warm and friendly member of the team.
