This apartment was large and well equipped more than capable of taking 4 guests. There are no local shops so unless you bring food with you the ample kitchen facilities won't be useful for you. The place is right on the Camino route from Muxia to Finisterre which is a blessing. The hosts run a cafe bar downstairs which is handy and there's an excellent restaurant minutes away.

Lovely views. Good room rate. My food was excellent and I was very happy and satisfied - but my husband’s was a very small portion and after walking on the Camino he was hungry. Initially they weren’t too keen to add an extra portion of chips but did then decide to do this and were in the end helpful and OK about it.

Our room was really beautiful, perfectly equipped and so nicely decorated. We even had a small balcony with lounge chairs! Rosalía was a perfect host, really nice and friendly: she explained us where we could have lunch and dinner, where to walk on the nearby beach and after breakfast she even gave us a small bag with apples and cakes for our walk. And Lires is beautiful...

From correcting Booking’s mistaken reservation for two back to a solo individual (thus saving me 20euros) to sending me off on the final stage of the Camiño dos Faros hike with a little something for the trail. It turned out to be two apples, just what was needed at lunchtime. There isn’t a Supermarket in Lires, it wasn’t possible to have fruit. Thank you so much Rosalia!

Highly recommend, especially if you are hiking the Camino between Fisterre and Muxia. We want to return next year we loved it so much. The estuary leading to the sea can be seen from the property and the beach is a short 1 km scenic walk away.
