This hotel is housed in a historical building surrounded by century-old gardens in Lanjarón. This pretty mountain town is famous across Spain for its hot springs.
Located in the Andalusian spa town of Lanjarón, Hotel Alcadima offers impressive views over the Salao Valley. This typical country house has indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna.

This hotel came highly recommended by a friend as a perfect place for a road cycling holiday. It really didn't disappoint. I had a great week's break with friends in very comfortable accommodation with very enjoyable food.
The hotel is in a beautiful location in an ideal place for cycling both in the hills of the Sierra Nevada national park and to the coast.
It is clean and well kept with a great evening meal selection that is good value for money and very well prepared. The view from our 3rd floor room was stunning and the pool area was spacious with a lemon tree and nearby bar and restaurant.
The hotel has paid parking underneath but there is a free public car park just adjacent to the hotel. There is also a dedicated cycling room for storage and maintenance.
One of our group is already planning returning to the hotel with his wife for less cycling and a more conventional holiday.
Offering impressive views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Hotel Central is located in Lanjarón. The hotel offers a children’s playground and free Wifi in public areas.

Good functional hotel room. Decent place for a short stay. Central location.
Hostal Manolete is located in Lanjarón, a town known for its natural springs. Easily accessible from the A44 Motorway, it offers air-conditioned rooms with a TV and a private bathroom.

The room's terrace with a view of the mountain and the entrance hall.
The parking space in the unit's garage.
The quiet of the street on the morning and the mountain air.

I am a cyclis, I have visied Lanjaron numerous times over the years. I usually stop with a tour company. The place is great for mountain biking and hiking, its a small place but good choice for food and drink. The people are friendly and the mountain biking is excellent.

It's a very quaint place.
It's a very quaint place. There are some nice bars and restaurants. The Hotel Balnerario offers different spa treatments to the public although we didn't have time to visit. Much of the activities surrounding Lanjarón involve walks and outdoor activities. It's a beautiful area and the other neighbouring villages are well worth visiting too.
Lanjarón itself has a lovely little park (parque El Salado) and there's the museum of honey (museo de miel €3 entry)
It's an interactive museum and it's fun and interesting. Be warned it's all in Spanish. There is also the ruined castle to visit.
In the village there are some helpful guides to walking routes which range in length and difficulty. There is also a tourist information office to offer help and advice

It is a very typical beautiful mountain town with lots of fountains. The people in the shops are very friendly and have nice natural products for sale. It is a very relaxing place and there is a nice woody walk down to the Castle. We ate in our Hotel, the Alcadema, and also in town and were very pleased with all of it.

We have stayed in Lanjaron before and we like it.
We have stayed in Lanjaron before and we like it. It has amazing views. Now we are in our 70s and have health issues, mountaineering is not possible so easier walks are possible there. It is one of the most scenic villages we've visited in that area,

It is a small town but has all the services and good restaurants one needs. The locals are very friendly and helpful (but then again I speak Spanish which is needed). There are very enjoyable walks and parks throughout the area. The scenery is beautiful as one would expect in the Alpujara de Granada.

Beautiful sleepy little spanish village.
Beautiful sleepy little spanish village. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. Amazing for hiking, cycling and other outdoor activities. be prepared to speak a little Spanish as not many English speakers there. Lanjaron is renowned for its drinking fountains that are each reputed to have different healing properties, there is also a fantastic spa to visit. Not the best place to visit for vegetarians as it is ham country, but the neighbouring town of Orgiva does have some more veggie friendly places.
We liked everything about this place including that they have parking but we didn't need it because there was parking right in front of the hotel!
The breakfast was good and they maker their own churros batter on site!
The hotel lobby was decorated for Halloween which we all found fabulous!
The gardens were lovely and the hotel is fabulously situated in the middle of the town. Everything was walkable.
I would love to go back in the summer to use their fabulous pool overlooking the mountains!
This hotel is friendly and responds quickly to inquiries at any time. It is a hotel with an amazing street view, and the impression of that time still remains. When I was staying, it was the week of Good Friday, so there were many people on the streets and it was very lively. It is recommended as a hotel with comfortable beds, clean facilities, and the harmony of a good owner.
Lina was an amazing host. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She provided us with recommendations on what to do and where to go in Lanjaron. Her place was well equipped, we were very glad to have use of a washing machine. The fireplace wasn't working and Lina and her husband immediately worked to get it fixed for us.
The rooms are exactly as the pictires show. Outdated furniture but confortable and in good conditions. Very clean and spacious including a big bathroom.
The parking was perfect since parking in the street is very limited.
People at the reception were friendly and helphul.
Location was perfect at the city center.
Highly recomended hotel.
This hotel was excellent in every way and I cannot fault it. I have travelled a lot and I can honestly say that this was one of the loveliest hotels I have stayed in. It is full of Spanish character and charm, the pool was excellent, the location superb and the food fantastic. Thank you so much.
Our second stay at the hotel. As the last stay all was good. The hotel is well located for the centre of Lanjaron. It is good value good clean accommodation and Aircon which is needed in July. Staff are friendly and helpful. The lady on the desk speaks good English which can be useful.
A lovely clean spacious room, nice sunny balcony with a good view over the Moorish castle ruins and the valley. Staff were also lovely. Hotel was quiet ( village had just had it's annual 'ham and water festival/fiesta - finished the night before I arrived).
Great location in the centre of the town, with free parking available on site. Lovely gardens and swimming pool.
Breakfast was good with generous portions
Although somewhat dated the room and the hotel were clean and tidy.
Everything! Pool, variety of gardens and places to sit in shade, air-con, WiFi, location, check-in/check-out times (you're allowed to still use facilities), decor of hotel, style of accessories, size of triple room...
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room was comfortable and nicely decorated.
The bathroom was good with plenty of hot water - shower and bath.
Access in and out of the hotel was easy and we had our own key.
Great location with direct access to the spa via the hotel in your wardrobe that the hotel provides! Lovely hiking routes around the villages. Restaurants and bars closeby. Dogs allowed for a surcharge.
Everything was perfect for us. Staff are friendly and efficient, beautiful and interesting hotel, everything is spotlessly clean, great pool set in mature mixed gardens, good rooms, spectacular views.
