Hotel Arrope, hotel in Haro

Hotel Arrope is located in the town of Haro, in the La Rioja region, renowned for its wine. It has a large garden with decking and offers free Wi-Fi.

Nice hotel, located a bit off the center. Friendly staff and great restaurant for dinner. I was there in the Semana Santa (over Easter) and hence the parking situation in the town was tough - had to park a bit away, roughly 5min by foot.

It’s a really lovely and interesting hotel. The covered square in the centre with the large balconies around, make it quite special. The rooms are roomy and spacious for a short stay.

The centre of Haro is full of character and is generally buzzing with people at the cafes and bars in the evening. We were in Haro to visit vineyards and to have wine tastings, which are placed on the outskirts of the town. We visited a restaurant, "Beethoven", for the reknowned lamb, which was delicious. Haro is small enough to be able to see the whole town on foot and makes for an interesting trip.

One of my favorite town in Spain! Amazing scenery, great trekking routes around the wineries, wonderful wines, what else? It's a perfect base to explore the wine making country and worth visiting in four seasons :)

    A lovely smart Rioja town.

A lovely smart Rioja town. Some fine old buildings cathedral and square. Good variety of cafes bars and restaurants around. The sister hotel ARROPE has a lovely garden for drinks and tapas across from the hotel Los Agostinos. There are a ton of wine outlets to go to at the bottom of town and also off licences You can do mini wine tours and courses in Haro too Haro is very near the motorway AP68 so if travelling you are soon on your way it’s great for a stop over to and from the ferry ports to the UK

Haro is the most convenient place if you a Rioja wine lover as we are. All the big bodegas are in close proximity of each other and even smaller ones are not too far away. The amenities here are also excellent, with many really nice restaurants and bars.

The hotel was located a couple of km from the town centre, Haro was a lovely place to stay with about 6 bodegas together for wine tasting and buying wines the town had some very nice restaurants. The hotel was what we expected from the previous reviews. The room we had was a good size. There was all the usual things you expect in a hotel room. It was nice to be able to go to the bar in the evening also the breakfast choice was good and you can choose which formula you want and pay as you go. The car park was a good size plenty of free parking.

Everything! The apartment was so well equipped. I was impressed to have smoke detectors and large fire extinguisher in the apartment as very few do in places we have stayed. The apartment was very well furnished. The bed was so comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. The location was walking distance to everything we needed. The Host Ava was the nicest, helpful, generous and always available host we have ever had. We recommend this place as the best possible place to stay in Haro. We will surely go back. Mucho Gracias Ava!!

Everything about this apartment was brilliant - we loved it. Haro is lovely - the apartment is central and walking distance to everywhere including the town square, eating streets, local pool and 11 bodegas! The apartment itself was great - two beds, two baths and icy cold air conditioning - great little kitchen, open lounge and beautiful enclosed terrace to watch the surrounds and have a morning tea or coffee. We were in Spain for a number of weeks and this was our favourite accommodation and place to stay!

I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and comfortable this hotel is, which is located in the middle of Haro and a minute's walk from the restaurants and bars. It's a great place to base yourself if you plan on visiting the wineries. The hotel is easily accessed and the rooms are modern and clean. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We arranged for private parking, which was well worth it.

So glad I picked this place. Spacious loft, full of light, beautiful local style with wooden beams and tiles, two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), huge comfortable king bed (so two of us friends could have our own side to ourselves). The building has a lift. Excellent location just a couple of min away to everything we needed in Haro. Loved it and 100% recommend!

The location in Haro is perfect to walk to the wineries and into the town. The apartments (we had 3 - two with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and 1 studio apartment) were clean, bright, modern and with great views. Make sure you contact the host before hand to get a time for the keys to be handed over.

Very well equipped, spotless and comfortable apartment, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Haro. Really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as a cold bottle of Rioja in the fridge and essential cooking ingredients like oil, vinegar and seasonings.
