Very built up area but had everything you need. Long Promenade with lovely sandy beach. Buses were great - cheap and clean. Lots of different bars & restaurants to choose from. Prices very good. Nice walk to the Castle (free entry). Recommend The Lotus Steak restaurant! Day trip to Benalmadena via the Ferry is a good way of getting out & about. Sunday market and a very large market every Tuesday in the town centre (which was a fair walk from The Veramar Aparthotel).

You take Fuengirola as it is, if you want bars with TV's there are plenty, nightlife if you want it. A 7 kilometer seafront to walk along, very good selection of restaurants. Quiet areas away from the town. Taxis, buses and trains all available. Very Spanish still lots of pretty squares. You do not see rubbish laying around especially on surrounding roads.

Promenade is touristy, but a few streets back Fuengirola is a Spanish town with good facilities, excellent quality fruit and veg and fish at half the UK cost. Proper high street with clothes and shoe shops, even Botox clinics if this is your thing ! Huge Carrefour supermarket ( equivalent of Waitrows) and smaller Mercadona (equivalent of Tescos)
Every type of restaurants even Indians, Thai, English fish and chip shop.
Parking is difficult but area around mosque is free, don't try on a Friday or Sunday !

Staff is super friendly, gym is in great condition, hotel inside and out is stupendous. Super clean and decor is grand. We love it here! Especially enjoy listening to Miquel the pianist who plays the most beautiful music you could ever hope for in a hotel lobby! Truly talented, as we bring local friends to the hotel to enjoy the evenings he plays during our stays.
Beautiful hotel - worth the 4 stars.

My first time in fuengirola and I definitely be back.
The staff were so friendly and efficient , I had a problem with the room safe but Maria came and changed the batteries and solved the problem. Location is perfect , 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the famous FISH ALLEY where you will find about 100 restaurants. We hope to stay at your hotel again early next year. Regards Jim and Elaine Collins
We didn't eat in the hotel as we prefer eating in local Spanish restaurants. Also, we have friends living in Fuengirola and met with them as part of our holiday. Yarama is well situated being on the Promenade, across the road to the beach and also far enough away from the middle of town to be quiet and easy going.
Comfy beds spacious hotel. Lots of facilities. Friendly staff. Fridge in room and balcony. Few minutes walk from train station so easy access to Fuengirola Centre, Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Malaga. Taxi rank also just outside hotel. Beach, restaurants and bars also close by. Supermarket across the road.
Superb location, great rooms with sea views, excellent facilities, pool and spa area, bars and breakfast top class. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming from reception to food and cleaning services. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Fuengirola.
Friendly and helpful staff. Located close to the beach with free parking in the underground car park, additional free parking on the street outside the hotel. Nice Indian retaurant nearby and bars and other restaurants within a short walking distance.
We are becoming regular visitors to the hotel. Staff efficient and helpful. Hotel clean, quiet, and very well situated for downtown Fuengirola. Comfortable pool situated on the 2nd floor. To sum up a very pleasant hotel and we will be back.
The room was excellent . Super clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. 2 mins walk to the Bus station and 4 mins walk to the train station of Fuengirola and the beach. So easy to be able to travel to other parts of Málaga.
Fuengirola is a beach-city located centrally between Marbella, Malaga, and Granada. This made day trips very easy for us. The place has good food nearby and a beach right opposite the hotel. Parking was easy to find as well.
The bed was quite good. I suffer from osteoarthritis and need a soft bed, and it was quite ok, better than in many other hotels, but could have had a (bed)mattress pad on top of the regular mattress.
The hotel was very clean, the staff were always on hand & very pleasant. It’s location is perfect for the beach, bars & restaurants & far enough away from the busier part of Fuengirola.
The room is very clean and the lobby as well.
All the receptionist are very nice.
If ever we would come back again to Fuengirola we will choose Moon dream Hotel again to stay in.
