Very comfortable room with excellent shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was good with choices of fruit, bread, and local foods, Water provided to take medication also. Located in the centre of Arrasate Mondragon; it's a comfortable walk to local bars and restaurants and the bus station to travel throughout Gipuzkoa.

First of all the hotel was a rectangle with rectangular rooms, a rare find in Europe. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. As for the town, we found it very picturesque and charming. Most restaurants don't open until 8:00pm which is common in Spain. My wife's maiden name is Mondragon so we went to the city hall to get find out more about the town. We got the royal treatment from the service manager herself. She gave us maps and talked with us about the history of the town. She then left her office and gave us a personal guided tour with access to the town hall meeting room and cupola. Her service was above and beyond anything that I expected. The very next day was a festival day with a running of bulls though the city. Unfortunately we had a strict itinerary and couldn't stay one more day. Check the calendar of cultural events online before you go so that you don't miss out like we did.

Sadly our stay was just for an overnight as we were on a long journey from the UK to our home in southern Spain. From now on though, this will be our go-to hotel, and we'll definitely be back for a holiday. Immaculately clean, a lovely host, this spacious hotel couldn't be better placed for our purposes. The rooms were spacious, the beds larger than normal and very comfortable. Lots of little extras made our stay a treat. The town itself was a lovely surprise. It had a great atmosphere, lots of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance, lots of character and history. The coastline a short drive away is staggeringly beautiful. No hesitation about recommending a stay in this lovely hotel and peaceful town. There's a tendancy to look at a map and see nothing but motorway, but the reality is very different - 5 minutes away from the autovia and you're in a different world.

Excellent location, modest, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation. Friendly host who took the time to help us find the bus schedule, find our way to the Mondragon corporation office, and always greeted us with a smile.

Absolutely superb facilities with lovely coffee and patisseries and cake for the guests. The breakfast was very good every morning and the owner Karmele went above and beyond to make me feel welcome in her hotel. And grocery stores and restaurants were within just a few minutes of walking. What stuck with me to most was the people working at the hotel. They were really nice and helpful. I felt very safe and comfortable.
