Nice, clean and warm room. Amazing staff - from welcome in evening when I arrived (lady from reception even found employees speaking Polish - as her English was limited and I don't speak German). Another woman from reception in the morning fixed me rolls, tea and fruits for travel, even if I came downstairs after the end of breakfast time. Amazingly kind and helpful staff!

I liked the mix between modern and family hotel style. Pleasant personal approach by the staff during check-in, dinner, check-out. All In all good value for money. I expect to be using this hotel again for future trips in that area. Tip. Try the local beer.

Rude unhelpful staff, air conditioning didn't work in our room so they changed the room and charged €10 for this! Everything closes early – chef goes home at 8.45pm so you need to be in. the dining room no later than 8.30. The food was very German – boring and overpriced. Nice hotel, but spoiled by the management/staff.

Very friendly staff and a great breakfast but an odd room; it was cold and austere with a high ceiling, hard floor (no carpet or rug), no decorative touches and little comfort. We had only one pillow (one extra strange flat thing in the wardrobe) and a light duvet. There was no lounge or bar that we could see, so you need to go back into the town if you want a drink or a snack. In contrast, the breakfast was superb, offering a huge range of fresh food and drinks. Perhaps we just got unlucky with the room?
