This place is totally underrated with its 3-stars. I would give it a 5-star rating. There aren't many places I have stayed that pay so much attention to detail like this place. On top the breakfast was amazing, none of that readymade stuff or egg substitutes or such think. All fresh and lovely presented. And a special thanks goes out to Annegret for a refreshing history lesson on the "Rattenfänger von Hameln" :)
This 3-star non-smoking hotel is in an Art Nouveau villa to the west of Hameln, an 8-minute walk from the Old Town. A buffet breakfast is served daily, and guests enjoy free WiFi.

The breakfast was good. Only thing I thought of was the lack of flow when getting your breakfast, very minor thing:)

The room and facilities were excellent and very clean . The restaurant/ Bar was well decorated and breakfast was ample choice - the meals we had at night were both lovely - served by polite staff - one waitress named Adalina was lovely and went out of her way to talk english to us . Both managers and staff were very polite and helpfull throughout our stay . I liked the nod to the past in the bar as it was once called georges bar and frequented by UK army personnel and still has two regimental flags on one of its shelves .

Hameln used to be a lot nicer many years ago, I was based here from 1996 until 2010. Now there are many new apartments where historic buildings used to be and the suburbs have become shabby. It has lost its charm.

Nice small town with an agreeable city center (Alt Stadt) featuring the typical classic German building styles. Many cosy restaurants and shops are available. Parking is easy by underground garages (tief garage) although not well maintained but yet for very reasonable prices. A visit of one or two days should be enough.

On a wet Monday night arrival it seemed a little dismal, bars closed until 17.00 and a limited number of restaurant available - but with the feel of Christmas on Tuesday it really opened up. Very beautiful and love the way a shopping mall exists in the old town without being loud and revealing itself.
Of course the stories are what Hameln is all about, and loved he fact that the Pied Piper's lasting gift to the town was more than today's tourism. The Allied troops knowing of the 'ratcatcher' story, left the town untouched and enabled it to be so cute today.

Hameln was a real discovery as we did not expect the city to be so amazingly charming. What we really appreciated: lots of beautiful houses with intricate designs and pedestrian streets to appreciate them fully. People are very kind and eager to help. Unfortunately, most of the information provided for tourists is only provided in German.
The breakfast was wonderful! Great coffee and wonderful staff! The frontdesk attendants were very helpful especially restaurant locations since the hotel's restaurant wasn't open on Sunday. The location couldn't have been better. Close proximity to city center and the view of the river was superb. Entertainment at the theatre next door. Parking was very affordable and convenient.
We discovered this hotel by accident, as a one night stop as we travelled through Germany. The location was perfect, with the centre only a five minute walk. The parking was safe and convenient. The room was perfect, spacious, clean and had a lovely view of the street. The breakfast had plenty of variety with homemade and local products. We would definitely stay here again.
Plenty of room to move about, clean and bright. Both flats laid out well with comfortable furniture. Generally well equipment. Great location, walking distance from town. Perfect to have the two flats so we had more room to spend time together in the downstairs flat, rather than in a hotel where we could only be together in public rooms.
This is a great hotel, situated just on the edge of the main shopping area and only a 5 minute walk to the first coffee and eatery.
Very quiet and next to the river with a walkway next to it for a morning stroll. Great road access to all directions.
Super easy parking and paid for by the hotel, bonus.
This hotel offers everything standard but very well. The hotel itself is greatly positioned, having a very beautiful park just at the hotel entrance. Rooms are clean. Standard furnishing but all in good status. Checkin and checkout process are fast, breakfast is great, hotel pesonnel very friendly.
all in all a great place to stay- the amenities and finish of the place are of a very high level - free underground parking. The location is amazing, 2 min walk into the old town. Will 100% book again next time we find ourselves in Hameln.
quiet road. sheltered balcony. comfortable bed. 15 mins slow walk into heart of Hameln. modern kitchen, large fridge freezer. good car parking place around back/off road. free strong Wi-Fi’s
no negative comments. would stay again.
The breakfast was very good with coffee, juice, bread, cheese, jam...
Parking in front of the hotel, very convenient.
City centre 10 minutos away walking.
We were able to ckeck-in earlier than expected.
Staff very kind.
Clean and fully furnished apartment with easy access to both the city centre and train station.
The landlord is very polite and helpful.
Overall very good value for money, would highly recommend for a Hameln holiday stay.
Probably the most wonderful place I've ever stayed at. Huge and beautiful, perfect location and with lovely views also. Will definitely book again if I return to Hameln, I wish I would've stayed longer!
Bed was firm, but comfortable. Located within walking distance of old city, but complicated to drive to hotel. Had asked for blankets and they were provided.
The hotel is very close to the sights in town, yet still quiet. The breakfast is excellent. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.
