The location was perfect and the staff were great. Manager Joulia was fantastic in helping us with our short stay there.

I do not remember when was the last time I gave 10 in all categories (and I travel a lot), but this place and its team really deserve it. Warm & cosy (even fire on the fire place), with excellent food and friendly staff... this place exceeded our expectations and became one of the highlights of the trip. Once again THANK YOU for the stay :)
Situated in the Piéton district of Gruyères and just 80 metres from Château de Gruyères, Au soleil de Gruyères chez Chantal provides free WiFi and mountain views.

The courtesy of the personnel was making me feel home, the room was cozy and clean and had very nice view. Also super cool the small garden outside.
Price and location added the cherry on top.
I recommend also the Restaurant on the side which has discount and can save few more for food.

Very nice appartment, with a lot of space, very well furnished with a beautiful terrasse. It is clearly shaped as an appartment for the the needs of families going to the neighbouring ski station. It wasn't our case, but we really appreciated having breakfast in the terrasse with its views to the astonishing sight of the Alps, before going for a nice hike in the forest around, then heading to the nearby beuatiful Gruyere for a great visit and lunch.
Situated in Gruyères in the Canton of Fribourg region, Joli studio au pied du Moleson has a terrace and garden views. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area....

Everything was perfect.
Great instructions and comfortable chalet.
Do not forget to bring your own wood for the fire.
Beautiful hilltop medieval town with so-so castle, great...
Beautiful hilltop medieval town with so-so castle, great views, ambiance, a great cheese manufacturing tour, some lovely hotels, a Tibetan museum, and a museum of the works of the disturbed anti-human artist HR Giger. If you are into easy-moderate hiking, the Callier chocolate factory, or the nearby towns (Broc or Moreson) Mt., it will be worth more than one day.
I took a lovely hike to Broc on a trail found in the app, AllTrails. This was very worthwhile.

Although very small, Gruyères is one of the most beautiful places in the world! The fondue is not to be missed at any restaurant, and both the castle and the Giger museum and bar are a must for any visiter.

Great location, easy parking. The room was clean.
Great location, easy parking. The room was clean. The room was clearly the worst room in the hotel, facing the parking lot so it was extremely loud, when the cars were leaving. It seemed like the room had 0 sound isolation, we could hear everything. The staff was not very friendly and clearly did not care for us as guests, I needed to ask extra times for information about what to do and see around.
Not very good value for money in my opinion

Picturesque old town, pleasant castle, traditional cheese based menu’s available at multiple restaurants. Very pastoral and serene countryside with views of valleys and mountains. Helicopter sightseeing flight from Gruyere airport with SwissHelicopter was fantastic (defined packages available but can in-effect charter the helicopter by the minute to customise your experience... cheaper than you might expect!). The pilot was fabulous, and the views wonderful.

Gruyeres is a picturesque small village that can be toured in a morning or afternoon. We had a fondue dinner at Hotel de Ville and breakfast at Auberge de la Halle - both highly recommended. Parking is outside of the village and all is accessible on foot, equivalent in size to 2-3 large city blocks. Especially liked the castle and Giger bar (did not tour the museum).

We went to visit the HR Giger museum.
We went to visit the HR Giger museum. But the village is very popular with tourists from all over the world. Everyone was very friendly. I would imagine it’s a good base to visit other areas. We got a bus very easily to Moléson so getting around was simple. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to see lots. It’s a beautiful village but that does mean lots of tourists who come in time for lunch we found. I would imagine if you didn’t book a table for lunch you might wait. By dinner we found everyone had left so was much quieter. We stayed early October so might be different other time’s of the year
Incredibly beautiful views from the room. The room was clean and comfortable albeit a tad small. The staff was very nice and helpful; they told us about coupons to save on all the attractions we wanted to see. Additionally, we requested extra pillows on booking.com, and found them waiting in our room (we requested this at several hotels on our road trip and this was the only hotel that provided them).
In the middle of the medieval village, there's a small door leading to an unexpectedly cute hotel. The host was very nice, our view was facing directly towards to village fountain, the rooms were designed with cute little details and the bathroom shower is large and modern. Also, as a guest you'll get some percentages off in the shop right besides, which sells homemade cheese and fondue!
The location is unbeatable - within the town walls, right on the main square. Our apartment was in an annex to the main hotel building, but right next door. Our apartment was very spacious - over 2 levels, freshly and tastefully refurbished. It has all the amenities. It overlooks the main square on one side and rolling hills and fields on the other side.
This was a great place to stay in the middle of the village. It was lovely to be able to walk around later in the evening when the majority of tourist crowds had left. We had a large room, with comfortable beds. It was unusually hot during our stay, and while the hotel didn't have A/C, they did provide fans which helped a lot.
The location was incredible; so beautiful! lt is within the town fortified by castle walls and close to both the castle and the Maison de Gruyères. The Maison Cailler was only an hour walk away. The room was also very close to some beautiful nature views. Chantal was very welcoming and accomodating and speaks English well
This is a nice hotel in the center of Gruyeres pedestrian main street. Hotel has a restaurant and lift. Our room had a mini fridge but only one outlet. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Parking is a short walk away in a public pay lot. A 24 hour parking pass can be purchased from the hotel for 8 Euros. Pretty town.
The hotel is located inside the small town of Gruyere. We took city facing rooms and had a nice view of the market below. The room and bathroom were very spacious and well stocked. Reception was very helpful in providing a couple of things we requested. The gift shop on the ground floor gives a 10% discount.
Pretty hotel, as if in a post card. Being able to stroll in the center of the medieval town late in the evening and early in the morning were special treats. Our room was small but lovely, extremely clean and appropriate for an overnight stay in the medieval town of Gruyere. Staff was very welcoming.
Great location within the very scenic village of Gruyeres. Great breakfast with excellent freshly prepared food. Very nice views over the Gruyeres castle and the beautiful nature around.
there is a brand new conference center and wellness that we did not try out.
Hotel staff was bubbly and helped us carried our super heavy luggage up the stairs though there was no lift. We were offered hot coffee early next morning to go as well since we were trying to catch our train. Small act of kindness goes a long way! Recommended!
We loved the location right in the middle of the old town with beautiful scenery out of every window. The rooms had old wooden beams and the bed was a nice queen size. Each room had a separate bathroom with a nice Swiss-made hair dryer.
Lovely staff, beautiful location, prices were reasonable. The Hotel was very nice with its wooden spiral steps. Views were nice during breakfast as well.
I would definitely return here in the future.
The hotel is located in the historic center of Gruyeres. The hotel has a restaurant where guests can eat inside, not outside as in other restaurants (coronavirus restrictions ....).
The staff were welcoming and looked after us so well. The room was lovely. Just an overall wonderful cosy hotel with a great breakfast out on the terrace. Our dog was welcome.
Very nice staff members! The hotel is really cosey and makes you feel at home already. But the staff makes it even better. I would go there again for sure 5*
