They have a really pretty river with falls but there is a big pulp plant in the center of town that smells absolutely awful. All the air within a 10 mile radius stunk. As long as you use a large scale hotel like Best Western or something like that, then dont bother going.

We just passed through spending one night there on a long trip.
I was very happy to see gas prices had dropped from the profiteering customer gouging prices to the East of there. If you need to gas up prior to reaching (from the east) Dryden I suggest getting just enough to get you there and fill up in Dryden To save a few bucks and deny the profiteers their blood money.
I got a small printed map of the town from the front desk at the motel. It was just right to see the layout.
I had been driving for over 14 hours so we just got A&W burgers for a quick meal.

Dryden is small.
Dryden is small. We were simply staying the night, passing through on our trip across Canada and did not do anything other than stay the night at the motel. Didn't even eat in Dryden as we'd eaten earlier. So can not review the town.
The staff member greeted you as you came through the door and it was nice to see a happy face and very professional desk clerk waiting on us. The hotel, was very clean, the morning breakfast was excellent, that lovely lady, was very kind and caring, came to us to ask if everything was OK, wished us a very nice day. I would recommend this hotel two thumbs up, and I would stay there again for sure.
We stayed in a pet friendly room that was at the back of the hotel. It had an outside and inside door to access the room, which was great for taking our dog out. The restaurant at the hotel was really good and the waitress was so nice. She helped us get some chicken for our picky eating dog. The hotel room was clean and comfortable.
Nice room, one of the better ones we've had along the highway, and the COVID-19 bagged breakfast was the best we've had: choices, some heatable food, juice, and actually filling (most hotels are just giving a muffin and an apple or so).
Every summer our family travels across Canada and this remains our favourite stop over. Staff is always superior, rooms are the cleanest of any hotel we stay in, and location is excellent for travelers with tons of parking.
Very clean hotel. They followed Covid-19 protocols. We found the beds comfortable (which we don't often in hotels)! They offered take away breakfast in the morning which was good considering the current situation.
It was very clean, well appointed and pet friendly. We were able to park in front of our room, and there was a restaurant that offered take out in the hotel.
