Even though the restaurant was busy, the hotel rooms were quiet. Rooms were spacious warm and well presented.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was continental and I recommend you take the opportunity to dine in the restaurant. We took a short walk to the cafe for drinks and a few games of pool, this is because there is no bar in the restaurant. This is due to it being a B&B and not a hotel. Turn left as you exit the hotel, and wander down to the cafe.

It was very clean and nice. It felt very secure and safe as a solo traveler. It is also located next to two walking bridges nearby that let you get into downtown which is nice.

Quirky hotel with lovely view of canal, barges and countryside. Great location as near to station and town centre. The room was full of original fun features - the bath mat folded to look like a boat made us smile! Breakfast was good with fresh bread and range of meats, cheese and smoked salmon. We were able to leave our cases before checking in which was very convenient. The bar was open in the evening so nice to have a nightcap before retiring to our cabin. Highly recommended

We were guests in this hotel paying a lot but when it came to dinner services or wanting to hang out daytime to give more money to this place, they were so busy we felt like we were Intruding. The staff was not happy most of the night because they had to many tables. They weren’t happy when our group of 7 needed anything. They were over worked and we could see it and that led to not very happy employees. We felt like we couldn’t ask for a drink because they didn’t have time. Such a shame. It’s a cute romantic hotel but you guys are so busy and we can see it. The couples and people can see it. If you’re too busy don’t take so many reservations because it’s noticeable and we now won’t return. It’s a cute place, but nice employees are very important when traveling/ no one wants to feel like they are putting anyone out and that’s how we ALL felt for 3 days!!! We went else where after not being able to even get dinner reservations and we were guests paying a lot!

Kathlyn was very accommodating.
Rooms are very clean and quiet.
We like very much the garden just outside the rooms.
Neighboorhood is an attraction itself. Location is perfect-very close to attractions and train station, would suggest though to still go by taxi if you have luggages because of the cobblestone streets.
Hotel Albert I is located next to an underground parking garage on ‘t Zand and is set within a 10-minute walk from the Market Square and the Belfry. Bruges' Train Station is an 8-minute walk away.

Very nice chateau, clean and beautiful. The room was the perfect size, bed was comfy and the bathroom was quite adequate. Walkable grounds around the property. Easy to find right off the main road and surprisingly quite due to the road being close. I had breakfast here, beautiful dining room with the traditional European breakfast with way more food than I could eat with several choices. Staff was quite attentive during dining and a beautiful view out the expansive window of the garden area. Elegant to a point.
