Quirky but cool. Awesome location. Good for 2 bikes but anymore than 3 would have been tricky.

Lovely to attend the Blues festival for my annual visit (not a snow lover) and enjoy the Village in summer. Enjoyed the Gondola for my first time and loved the ride, and that there is a venue at the top to eat or drink or listen to music.. If planning to eat out do take plentyof $$$ss as no cheaper options ecept the bakery and cafe on the Village square..

Thredbo is a great base for physical adventures.
Thredbo is a great base for physical adventures. However, it's very expensive. It stuns me that a golf course takes up so much of the small amount of space available, which limits accommodation and keeps prices high. Who goes to Thredbo to play golf?!

Closest ski field from Canberra. Easy to drive to.
Closest ski field from Canberra. Easy to drive to. Great for children. Snow was not great this season unfortunately, lift pass at $200/day is a bit pricey, lessons for adults were also high - used to be much cheaper pre-covid for lift and lesson. Ski school instructors, most were pretty good with kids - pleased with that.

Skiing in Australia will also be a bit of a risk.
Skiing in Australia will also be a bit of a risk. Massively expensive for potentially poor snow coverage.
Thredbo had such limited accessibility on one of our days everyone getting down the run then had to take off their ski/snowboard to hike through mud to the only available chairlift from main hub. Enormous queue. Saw people arrive and just turn around. There are limited options to get out of front valley when the wind shuts down the the chairlifts. This was end of July - peak season.
I recommend Perisher over Thredbo in terms of reliable access to snow.

Thredbo is easy to get too, and the drive there from either direction (especially from Khancoban) is Fantastic. There is a lot of chair rides, and a Gondala ride, if you want to just go for sight seeing, and the Board Walk on the top of the mountain is a "must-do" in the out of season times.
Thredbo is probably one of the best locations for mountain bike riding.

The room was lovely. Spotless.
The room was lovely. Spotless. Heated flooring and towel rails. Large bathroom with plenty bench space. Lovely breakfast in shared dining room. Beautiful views from picturesque windows. Hosts were wonderful. The only problem is the access. To the chalet. Going down 52 odd steps. Is fine if you have no health issues or knee problems. And we were fortunate to have only a small bag. This is the only issue I have with pure Thredbo. But it’s important to let others know. I have friends who would not have been able to stay had they have known of the steps
Otherwise. Perfect
The apartment is located just under a 2 minute walk from the Thredbo chair lifts and is easily accessible to the Thredbo Village.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and very organised in providing us with detailed information on where to collect our room keys, carpark arrangements etc.
The room was clean, quiet and had nice mountain views. It also had a large number of Foxtel channels to choose from.
I would definitely stay at these apartments again.
Annie was a fantastic host!! Accommodated a change of dates with ease and efficiency and in such a friendly manner and was lovely to meet in real life. Our room was very spacious and views were fantastic! A hot breakfast during summer topped off a great trip. Thank you!
The apartment far exceeded our expectations. Everything was done with the residents in mind and with the possible convenience and comfort in the decor, bedding, furniture, and appliances.
We had a lovely weekend and will return sometime in the future.
The quaint old style ski lodge ambience. Friendly staff - in fact one of them (Wendy) was a professional skier and gave us lots of info about the town and events that happen. The kitchen facilities were great and the bathrooms were clean
Very well cared for lodge with dining room lounge area and balcony overlooking the slopes. Full breakfast included and home cooked meals on offer. Thanks Fabienne and Skip for a lovely summer walking weekend in Thredbo.
Location was great. Easy walk to both Friday Flat and Threadbo Village. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were good and the kitchen was well appointed with cooking equipment.
We loved the location! Closet to Thredbo village and gondola!
The fact they use compostable bags made my holidays!
I highly recommend this place, the staff are super friendly!
Great lodge in the Thredbo ski villiage. Short walk to the gondola and overnight parking, great kitchen facilities and very nice staff. Good drop off area for cars too.
All good - food is excellent in the restaurant friendly staff and the location is central to every thing. rooms are serviced daily with a small vew of the mountain...
