Had a fantastic stay at Selina! I stayed in a micro cabin which was perfect, and the shared facilities were all fab. Great bar and relaxing area too and so many activities on offer! Great social element at Selina too and the Koala Park tour was also an added plus! Would recommend, Horseshoe Bay is a great spot to stay.

Such a lovely little hut. Cozy, clean and great facilities. Don’t feel the photos justify how nice this place is. Would definitely book again. Great value for money!

I wanted to be among the wildlife and sights and sounds of nature and that's exactly what I got. The cabins are set among lovely tropical gardens with big paper bark trees. Cabins well equipped and clean with a lovely balcony.
Lovely little pool perfect for cooling off after a morning walking.
Arcadia is the best spot to stay on the Island
A stunning bay/beach with netted swimming area. Some great cafes/bars, a beautiful art /craft gallery and the lady has lots of local knowledge about the local artists. There is a very relaxed vibe in Horseshoe Bay, not over commercialised like other areas of Magnetic Island. A little Gem.

Horseshoe Bay was perfect for us.
Horseshoe Bay was perfect for us. If had a terrific mix of an unspoiled natural safe swimming beach with a great range of eateries, coffee shops and retail. There was also the wildlife park and plenty of awesome walks (butterfly walk and through national park). Everything felt in walking distance as well. We especially loved hanging out at sunset or talking some long walks. It wasn't too crowded and we really hope that vibe stays.

We loved it.
We loved it.
We stayed at Nelly Bay last year but Horseshoe Bay is so much better. Sails on Horseshoe Bay is ideally located and the managers were so friendly and informative.
The beach is just magic! We had read about stingers and we were a little wary but others were swimming (outside of the net) so we did too. No stingers.
There is a range of eateries down the street and its only about a 3 minutes walk.
Simply a perfect, restful location.
A special thanks to the new managers and we wish them well in this, their new endeavour.

Due to Co-vid Horseshoe bay lacked restaurant choice unless it was the weekend, which I totally understand.
The walk and trails are awesome. The south east trade winds are strong which makes Horseshoe bay a favourite anchorage for the sailing community... Because of this, the beach is a lot calmer than the southern end of the island..
The forts are a must to visit... Bring plenty of water and look out for the koala... plenty of them.

We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay. Ate at Sandy's resteraunt and went on a 2 hour tour with Magnetic Jet Ski (leaves from the red shed) and it was fun and a bit rough. The whole family enjoyed this. Went looking for the butterflies. They were amazing but you have to shake the trees to get them flying. Only 10 minutes from our accommodation.Ask a local!
We very much enjoyed this well-furnished house. It is spacious, airy, and very comfortable. It has a small pool and good sun deck. It’s in a very quiet spot with an occasional wallaby and kookaburra in the adjacent woodland. It is an interesting ten-minute walk through a wetland conservation area to the beach and settlement, and to the bus to Nelly Bay. Horseshoe Bay is a great spot, with a long, safe and Sandy beach and a good selection of beachside cafes and restaurants. Nearby is Selina’s wildlife sanctuary.
Loved Selina, loved the cafe / bar common area, loved the dorm lodges which had a toilet and shower. Comfiest and nicest hostel I've stayed at for a while! A nice treat, great location too with beautiful sunsets and food/ drink/ hike options from Horseshoe Bay, plus regular bus available from right outside the Hostel. Also did candlelight yoga and a morning yoga session which I loved - other activities available too like pool tournaments, games etc. Would recommend staying here!
This is a characterful BnB that is very comfortable and is situated just a short walk from the small collection of shops and restaurants in the beautiful Horseshoe Bay. There is a good selection offered for breakfast, which is brought to your room in the morning. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony overlooking tropical gardens and watching and listening to the wildlife.
The private cabins were very comfortable and clean! Water and glases were provided in the fridge, decoration was nice, aircon worked perfectly for the first day, bathroom quite clean, big kitchen, big property so felt like a resort, good bar area and in the night we could see wallabies, bus to the ferry terminal directly in front off the hotel:)
We regularly visit Horseshoe Bay, and Sails has been our favourite place to stay for a long time. Great location opposite the beach, well maintained and well managed complex, the units are spacious and well appointed. Couldn't ask for better.
Very comfortable base for visiting the island with a great breakfast. Easy 10 minute walk to the Horseshoe Bay restaurants and great bus service for the rest of the island. We would definitely stay here again.
Located approx 400m to Horseshoe Bay. A frame hut clean & more than suitable. A definite back-backer vibe but even us 60 year olds enjoyed ourselves. Great pool & bar area where most people came for the wifi
Really liked this hostel, the facilities were good added bar & restaurant which I didn’t realise were there before my stay so that was really nice. Good location for horseshoe bay & bus stop right outside.
It was a beautiful bungalow, set in a beautiful location. We loved how close to horseshoe bay it was while feeling completely secluded away from civilisation. Staff were wonderful and accommodating.
