The communal kitchen and games room facilities were very comfortable and handy. Lots of extras were provided in the kitchen to allow us to prepare our own meals and drinks. We used the games room to play pool, pay board games and just relax on the big couches. The pool was very shady and clean - big enough for a quick dip to cool off after a day of exploring Exmouth and Ningaloo. There are so many extras - resort-like tables & chairs in a shady courtyard for having meals or just relaxing at. Laundry facilities and huge long clotheslines for drying our swimming things each day.

If you are interested in the marine environment, snorkelling...
If you are interested in the marine environment, snorkelling, seeing turtles lay their eggs and baby turtles hatch, and swimming with whale sharks and humpback whales then a visit to Exmouth and the Ningaloo Reef are a must. Many of the above happen at different times of the year, with some overlapping, so there is always something special happening.

I thought Exmouth was fascinating.
I thought Exmouth was fascinating. We did a snorkel tour and a Whale Shark tour which were both excellent. The town is small but there is so much to do in the ocean. The snorkelling at Turquoise Bay and Ospey was fantastic. The turtle beaches were great to visit during hatching season to watch the hatchlings scramble to the sea. The ocean is filled with such a diversity of marine life. It was fascinating. Eating out is expensive in Exmouth but there is an IGA grocery store where you can buy nearly every needed. I also would strongly advise people traveling by car to stock up on groceries in Woolworths at Carnarvon while driving up there. If you like a good coffee, go to the Bamboo Cafe in the mall. They have great salads, muffins, and sushi as well

It is a happy place to visit with an interesting history and lots of opportunities to experience wildlife encounters . It was easy to get around in a small hire car . The town had many cafes and restaurants .The museum was fabulous and staff were very helpful

Exmouth is amazing. The surrounding landscape is incredible. The access to Ningaloo Reef is very good. Lots of tour operators to get you onto the reef. But you need a vehicle to get around easily as there are no buses and limited taxis.

We went on a whale shark snorkeling adventure and 2 days on a dive charter. Exmouth really is about Ningaloo reef and its marine mega fauna and other beasties. It was Lovely to come back to piping hot showers, enjoy the evening vibes of the shopping centre where all essentials were available. Laid back and friendly.MargaretAustralia

Seafood pasta dish that I had was of a heavy cream base with no taste of chilli, which was stated on the menu. Pool was closed but stated on website as open. Had pool passes on offer for Mantarays hotel which was a 20 minute walk. If going back to Exmouth I would probably stay at another location. Not one I would hurriedly recommend.
