Drumreagh is always valued for money. Melissa does a wonderful job. We had the pleasure of having around 6 Alpaca's grazing in front of the cabin.

I didn't have breakfast. The location was great. Basic but comfortable and great for someone who was just passing through
A small town that has got nothing much. But the inn nearby serves good pizza. The town people are very friendly as when we drove off, the boot was not secured and we dropped our luggage, people were helping us to retrieve and guard our luggage for us.

We only stayed in Deloraine overnight to meet the Spirit of Tasmania in Devonport the next morning. But Daloraine is a lovely little town and deserves a longer stay. I would find a farm stay or similar if I was to base myself at Dalorain for a few days to a week.
Can highly recommend the British Hotel for dinner or a drink. Their micro brewed dark Ale was superb (unfortunately they had no bottles left for sale, only on tap).
There are plenty of waterfalls within an hours drive from the town, Lillydale, Parsons etc.
Launceston is also only a short drive if you can be bothered going there (I only go to see the Macaques in the botanic gardens), but if you want to explore the west Tamar valley, there’s plenty to see and do up there.

Clean and comfortable well set up and excellent bathroom.
Clean and comfortable well set up and excellent bathroom. Allocated room very noisy and as it was next to the laundry and cleaners room it was a less than attractive hallway piled with linen bags. Very noisy as the air conditioning vent was outside my window. No breakfast, water/tea/coffee in room. Felt a bit neglected out the ‘back’ so avoid rooms 16,15,14 at all costs. No real introduction to the facility just here is your keys 🔑. Great location and good in restaurant pretty good. I liked it and would recommend it but watch what room you get.

The river walks from the rapids to the tranquility of the beautiful reflections. Searching and finding and watching Platypus in the river was a highlight. Discovering the Arts and Crafts scene of the region was amazing. Loved meeting charcoal and pencil Artist Fiona Francois at her Gallery in town. The cafes and Hotels are fabulous. Deloraine has a great vibe.

A great town with interesting shops and a variety of cafes and eating places. Fairly good parking. Central location for exploring local surrounding area. A varierty of accomodation is available. Scenic town with river views. a few op shops for bargins. The information centre has helpful staff and interesting displays.
Beware at times there has been local flooding.. check in times of heavy rain for flooding on local roads.
This was our second stay and my mum, daughter and I had another lovely stay. Friday night we had a lovely movie night on the comfy couch and in the background the rain was falling and the fire was crackling away, it was just perfect! Saturday morning I fuelled up with a pot of tea in anticipation of a big day. We enjoyed shopping in Deloraine (just a few minutes away) as well as the craft fair over the weekend. Definitely will be back.
Perfectly outfitted small cottage in peaceful garden about half a mile from downtown Deloraine, a small town with all amenities and nearby hikes. We had a warm welcome from the host, who is rightfully proud of this beautifully renovated old home. We would love to be able to go back and spend at least a week there. There were lovely old roses in the garden (and a plethora of little rabbits!).
Lovely historical Manor home close to the town centre of pretty Deloraine.
We really appreciated the extra touches( freshly baked bread on arrival, cheese platter, port and chocolates and breakfast supplies) that made this a memorable stay
The bed was super comfortable and the electric blankets were much appreciated as it was very cold during our stay.
This grand old hotel is worthy of an overnight stay, and whilst some aspects were reflective of the age of the building other things about it were totally charming and harked back to another era. Antique furniture and beautiful 'pieces' added interest . We joined with other guests to breakfast in the large 'drawing room'. A fun visit.
this little motel is one of the best places to stay before heading further west or up to cradle mountain. Deloraine is such a cute little town and its placement among other facilities cannot be beaten. Close to woolies, breakfast spots, walking trails and quintessentially tasmanian.
The old gardeners shed has been transformed into a comfortable cottage with all needed facilities for an extended stay. The rooms are all much larger than expected and tastefully decorated. The cottage has a cosy feel and the large walk-in rain shower was wonderfully piping hot.
Our Drumreigh Cabin stay was delightful in every way. The cabin is beautifully appointed and provisioned, and Melissa is a lovely host. She messaged us before check-in time to say the cabin was ready and it was great to settle in before we went exploring lovely Deloraine.
We only booked this hotel as we were arriving on a Sunday and they had an onsite restaurant, but on arrival told not opening! Room took a while to warm up. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Room is pretty outdated but okay for the price paid.
The room at the back of the hotel was far better than my last stay at the front where I had the big illuminated sign lighting up my room the entire night. Darker and quieter as well not being on the street side.
Breakfast provided was plentiful with wonderful homemade bread, owners go out of their way to discuss the accommodation and give fantastic advice and information about the area. Unique property with its heritage
Location close to Deloraine. Very old heritage house and surroundings. Beautiful garden and trees. Wonderful property. The owners were very helpful on arrival and friendly.
Comfortable accommodation at the Hotel. Quiet and we liked the communal lounge area where you could chat with others. Restaurant dinner was very tasty.
