Wonderful tropical retreat with the option of a room in the main house or a little private unit - pool had a gorgeous jungle feel. You can get away without a car but probably easier to hire one. We loved our stay and hope to return.

We loved our stay here. The hosts Stuart and Tony were very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were in apartment 2, which was newly and beautifully decorated. And spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, right across from the ocean, and not too far from the restaurants at Palm Cove and Trinity Beach. It was an easy drive from the Cairns airport and to Port Douglas.

Overlooking the Coral Sea, Alamanda Palm Cove features 3 swimming pools, a day spa and a hot tub. A private balcony with ocean or pool views is standard in all apartments.

Loved everything about this hotel! The staff are incredible. They are so friendly and make you feel at home. The pool is fantastic and could always get a lounge chair to lie on at any time of day. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had and the lunch and dinner is also the best in Palm Cove. The signature inclusions were also a fantastic touch including the sunrise yoga (which is between the palms!), the sorbet by the pool and the canapes and punch at 5pm. They think of everything!!

Mantra Amphora Resort is located directly opposite the palm-fringed beach of Palm Cove. All rooms have balconies and there is a lagoon-style swimming pool for guests.
