Beautiful accommodation in an excellent location. The room was spotless, well furnished with a very comfy bed. There was also a tv with streaming services. The communal kitchenette was very useful and we loved the ducks and chickens in the back yard. Communication with the host was very easy.

The nicest trip to 1900 ever! Lake, exotic trees, volcano, well kept interior with just enough modern comfort. Sylvia is a great receptionist and we were happy with the houshold help.

Breakfast was very nice, though a little limited for a vegetarian. Some tomatoes would have been nice to go with the scrambled egg. Pamela was a superb host at breakfast. She was efficient, very friendly and most helpful, as were all the staff we met.

Absolutely loved the stay in Casa Dos Barcos Furnas. We felt privileged to have the opportunity to stay there. The house has a history and it feels special. The owners left the food basket with the fabulous local produce, which was very much appreciated. We also had the acces to bicycles and kayaks which made our stay even more special. Every morning we would go to the garden opposite the goose to see the chickens that welcomed us running very excited. Very special stay. One of the kind. Loved every moment. Thank you 😊

We had a lovely stay at Rita and Damaso place. The house is nicely decorated and very spacious, it is super equipped and it has all facilities that a family traveling with children might want ( washing machine, dryer, high chair, baby bed etc). It has a very nice garden and place for grill where kids can play. In front of the house there is a place to park a car which is very comfortable. It is very well situated to explore Povacao and places around. The owners are very nice and helpful. We felt as a part of the family. Thank you for your hospitality- we will definitely come back! And the owners have a super friendly dog that our children liked very much :-)
