We had a beautifull stay in Solar Pontes. The staff where very friendly. Breakfast was exceptional! The host Bea where very helpful she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, she even shared some of her mom's cakes recipes which where jammy! 😍 I highly recommend this place! Nice pool (shared with only 2 other apartments) with beach chairs, terrace, large gas BBQ in the beautifully kept garden, private parking, modern and well-equipped apartment with good facilities (including airco), there is even an outside stairlift chair to get from the street level to the level of the apartments/garden for people who have difficulties with stairs, etc..

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely premium bedding. Very large rooms. HUGE bathroom. Large garden with many seating options. There are 3 large bedrooms, each fully independent and two bathrooms. Highly recommended for solo travelers, older travelers, friends traveling together -- really anyone. Very safe. Location is away from the city and in nature.

Featuring free bikes, the eco-friendly Herdade do Ananás is located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from Portas da Cidade. An excellent breakfast was prepared with local food and a good portion; everything from the eggs, bread, and hams was delicious.
