Nothing fancy but plenty of great food to start off a day in a winter wonderland. could have done with a bit of variety, but not really complaining. The rooms (family cabin) was amazing, loved having our own sauna (and diving into the snow afterwards!). They even had a toboggan mound set up a few meters from our door, which provided hours of entertainment. Its great having direct access to the tours (reindeer sleigh rides, husky sled, ice fishing, snowmbiles...).MarkFamily with young children

The owners came to meet us and explained everything, even which berries are the best to pick. There was so much to do (from hot tub through an outside sauna to a sup board, and much more) that we hardly wanted to go out and see things. We really liked the sauna, hot tub, nature walks. The children very much enjoyed sled rides down the hill, playground. Very nice and attentive hosts. We had a fantastic winter break, and hope to come back again.

Ranua is a precious little hideaway and this place is perfect to explore the Finnish Lapland. The breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly and warm - always helpful even with small special requests.
