I absolutely loved the peace and tranquility of the property, the incredible views, private pool (very well maintained), fresh sea air, accessibility to the beach and shops around the corner. This was a wonderful stay, although too short - the cleaners and receptionists were very friendly. Both night time receptionist (forgot her name) and Gugu - are such gems, very friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely be back.

    Beautiful, scenic and restful.

    Beautiful, scenic and restful. The South Coast has always been a favourite place to holiday, but I didn't realise that just 30 minutes away from Durban would feel like being out in the country, with fresh air, beautiful views and friendly, helpful people. I enjoyed the vegetable breyani at Austin's Food Den prepared by Maliga and the manager at Bonamanzi Engen Garage was super helpful when I came in asking for directions, (I have to add that I am really bad at following maps and directions) he wrote the directions out for me. Another of the locals was also so helpful, even drawing out the roads for me, I'm that bad at following directions! I wish my Tom-Tom would have picked up Illovo South. It would have been much quicker to get the Serendipity Country House than the two hours I took. I have to add that I did enjoy the rambling, it felt like I was going on a really long road trip. This is where I enjoyed interacting with the local people of Winkelspruit who were so willing to help.
