Westbrook is a quite beach resort on the KZN North coast 10kms south of Ballito with a mixture of holiday homes and permanent residents. There are no shops in Westbrook apart from a shop at local filling station. Westbrook offers a quiet seaside holiday with easy access to other major N. Coast centres and beaches such as Ballito and Umhlanga.

Perfect place to be if u need some time out with your partner, for leisure or work, friendliest host ever!! The bed and pillows were both lovely, we had the best sleep ever, too bad we spent most of our time out...will definitely recommend it to my family...wish we cudve stayed longer..Razia - 10Scored 10

Westbrook is ideaal if you want to have peace and quite and lots of rest. The little town itself has only one garage with a good little supermarket and one Restaurant called Spice which is superb. The beach is beautiful and clean and perfect for walks. Balito to the north and Umbloti to the south is only a couple of minutes away by car and both these places (especially Balito) offer a variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment. I can personally recommend The Grand Exotic in Balito for a very interesting culinary and shopping experience. For very good value for money food with a view on the ocean go to The Beach Shack in Umdloti. For a really special treat consider driving a little bit further th The Oyster Box in Umhlanga but do make sure you have a reservation.

Penny, our host was extremely friendly and went the extra mile for us. She offered us beers and wine and the use of their personal patio when she heard that our entire family (who were not booked in at the guesthouse) were popping over to visit. The room is very well kitted out with a beautiful view and the most wonderful pillows. The facilities are also extremely clean. I will definitely recommend Westbrook & Penny's hospitality!
