Pretty good hotel for the price. Comfortable king size bed, hot shower, clean toilet, and hot breakfast. The TV had screen cast too which was amazing as we could cast our phone and watch our favorite streaming apps too.

Hampton Inn Pittsburgh University Medical Center, hotel in Willock

Nestled in the University District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this hotel offers free shuttle service within a 5-km radius of the property and free WiFi to all guests.

Like the shampoo/conditioner, soap and lotion dispenser (as opposed to those little throw-aways). Just hoping those bigger bottles are refilled and not tossed when empty. Good not to have daily housekeeping. No need. Staff very friendly and courteous.

I did not like the breakfast. It is the same one every motel gives. In the future I will go to a restaurant for breakfast.

This is a Hostel feel place. Very unique and enjoyable. Not all the luxuries of modern hotels but for a change of pace and some "historic feels", very enjoyable! The owners are very personable and enjoyable to talk with and very helpful!

I made sure I booked a room here because of the quality, price, location, and convenience of nearby services that I had to conduct business with (storage rental, truck rental, etc.). Front receptionists were extremely helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well maintained and free of trash. I'm a repeat guest here and probably will continue to be when in the Pittsburgh area.

The walk-in shower was the best feature of the place, but the shower wand hose was somewhat tricky to manage. The breakfast offerings were very limited. As nothing was particularly appetizing or appealing, I skipped their breakfast entirely. The bathroom had very little room to set common toiletries. However, the bathroom was large enough to accommodate a shelf or small cabinet for this purpose. The work table for my computer was somewhat small and the armless office chair was rather flimsy and of poor quality. The sitting chair's armrests were worn and should be reupholstered. Overall cleanliness was excellent. The fitness room had a recumbent stationary bike and a treadmill. This place was just OK. I will most likely research other places to stay for my next visit to the South Hills.

Your pillows were so uncomfortable my boyfriend had to go back to his house to sleep. The lady that checked me in with the huge boobs and dirty shirt was telling me to rate your hotel a 1 star. She told me exactly where a "celebrity" at the time was staying in the hotel, on the same floor as me. (She is an Indian famously known for being the smallest person alive) that was very unprofessional. She was telling me about the drama that goes on within staff....like I was just checking in 🤦 she said the rooms are "KINDA clean" I was about to leave right then and there. I wish I could be reimbursed at least half of my bill....
