Second time staying here while working in Long Island. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
Air conditioner keeps turning off. Sink was clogged even after maintenance came on and supposedly fixed it. Questionable individuals hanging out in the lobby. Most of the time there was no one supervising the counter. Upon arrival they assigned and handed a key to another couple to the same room as the one assigned to us.

This is an old hotel in need of an upgrade.
This is an old hotel in need of an upgrade. A room is where You spend most of your time, not the lobby or bar. The rooms need upgrading.
Hot water is a simple utility that should be available always.

I live 15 minutes away, so I'm very familiar with the area. You definitely need a car to get around. There's a huge shopping mall... Roosevelt Field Mall. The mall is great. It has tons of stores and plenty of restaurants. there are lots of restaurants in the area but everything is very far away from each other. So a car is necessary. If you don't have a car, there are plenty of Uber drivers everywhere. Restaurants range from pricey, like Ruth's steakhouse, to more affordable eateries like Chipotle and Shake Shack.

Nothing over the top about this place, I’m sad the restaurant and pool was closed, but that wasn’t the fault of the hotel. If you’re looking for a clean room close to what Westbury has to offer, I’d definitely stay here.

I would stay in Westbury again just not at the red roof Inn I rather stay at a Hilton where I’m comfortable for the bed and the steps I don’t need rude and nasty and disrespectful Steph I will never stay at the red roof again ever and I will recommend nobody that I know to come from another state to come to stay here ever again I was not happy and neither was my husband very unacceptable place to stay..I have photos of the two staff members but I will not put them online if you need to contact me personally you have my email address because these are not the type of people they need to be working for radicals in and that’s probably why people won’t stay there that your ratings are low but I tried but I can see why
Everyone was very friendly, the room was big enough for me and 3 kids. We came for a swim meet with the sessions starting at 1:30 and are very grateful we could have a later checkout so that we could go straight to the meet. And as if the kids don’t spend enough time in the water we got to use the hotel pool too which is tiny, but nice. And almost forgot - great breakfast.
Did not get an appointment for the spa even tho I have a gift card someone got me for the soaand what I saw online is not what I saw when I got to the hotel,, the room. What u was expecting when I made the reservations online isn't what the hotel offered what so ever. The room was not throly cleaned, there was old food on the floors under the bed and under the desk.
Nice big room, the bed was really comfy and although a mix of old and new, some of the furniture and fixtures had been updated, (but still in that old 90’s retro style American hotels love!) - tons and tons of places to eat and shop at near by - also that little snack shop on site proved to be very handy. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Stayed here multiple times, mainly because of the combination of clean, good-sized rooms and that the personnel is always very accomodating and nice! All issues are always resolved quickly! My go to hotel in this area!
I don’t know what is going on in this hotel, but I will never go back there again. I thought it was strange when I was asked “are you staying for 5 days”!!! And the characters that go in and out is another story.
good location that’s close to many restaurants and services. The hotel is nice, room is clean and staff are friendly. The purpose of my trip was work, so I have not tried all the facilities neither their food.
Did not stay at the hotel. False reviews on trip advisor. Other reviews indicate not a family hotel at all. Dirty and broken. Refused to refund my charges. Fail all around.
