Ultra ultra comfy beds! We slept for 12 hrs straight. Quiet and dark place ideal for stargazing.
Super friendly staff and quite diverse yet simple continental breakfast - you can easily make a healthy option with unsweetened oatmeal, nuts and fruit/yoghurt.
Good starting point for Bryce and Zion.
Great food around within 1-5 min walking distance.

Great location to explore the Bryce Canyon! The B&B is super cute and clean. We stayed in a room on the second floor (room 6) which was relatively quiet and had a nice balcony. In the afternoons we relaxed in the sun in the garden of the B&B.
In the morning the host freshly prepared pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit, and coffee in the kitchen downstairs and gave recommendations how to spend the day.
You can park your car right in front of the property and several restaurants you can reach by foot.

Great location outside Tropic close to Bryce Canyon with terrific views. Spotless apartment clearly lovingly looked after by the owners who live on the floor above the apartment. Well provided with all needed to cook with lots of extras provided. And was special to see the house through our binoculars from Bryce Point in the National Park.

A great option for being close to Bryce Canyon. Would stay again even though it's rustic. It was part of the experience of our type of vacation og doing the Big 5 as econically as we could.

Great little cabins. Comfortable beds and we loved being separate to other families in our own cabin, and the kids loved the play area. Would definitely stay here again.

Although a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed for the season. Everyone seemed to be very friendly and the pizza place we ate at was very good.
Clark's store has everything you need for hiking, dinner or a quick snack. Really good coffee

Such a cute little quaint town.
Such a cute little quaint town. There isn't much, but it's great. A few little quaint restaurants, and a gas station, and it's just adorable. Highly recommend starting at Bryce Valley Lodging, mini cabins, little personal adorable ones! You won't be disappointed! Great fun.

Tropic was just a short drive to Bryce Canyon and all the hiking. We enjoyed the coffee shop nearby (Bryce Canyon Coffee) and the restaurant that had live music (Showdowns Restaurant) in the evenings! We were there in early May 2023 and the weather was perfect, 35 to 45 degrees in the morning and 80's at the hottest.

Tropic is a great town being about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon. My partner and I stayed at Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. With many other activities in the area such as ATVs or electric bicycles, Bryce Wildlife Outfitters is the place to go for ATVing. For Dinner I’d recommend Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe and Arriba Mexican Grill. For coffee we went to Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. Inside the park there is dining at Bryce Canyon Lodge, we ate at the buffet for breakfast.

Spent 1 night here as a stop over.
Spent 1 night here as a stop over. Our accommodation was fine but Tropic itself is limited and not helped by the strictly enforced Utah rule of not having a beer without food. In the restaurant this was very odd and we couldn't have a second beer because we hadn't ordered enough food!

Dont stay in Tropic during winter.
Dont stay in Tropic during winter. The whole town is basically close during weekdays in the offseason. All restaurants are only open during weekends. The only place to buy food is the 66 gas station with a general store.
It is a very small town with some motels and a few restaurants, I'd recommend Bryce Canyon City or Mt Carmel Junction.
Lovely place to stay! Very welcoming hosts and beautiful house. Our room was comfortable, clean and characterful. Best breakfast of our whole trip! Fresh fruit, cooked waffles with bacon/ pancakes with sausage- delicious! Short drive to Bryce National Park- a sensational location. Would certainly recommend this bed and breakfast - so much more personal than big hotels. Great to hear about the family run farm and get tips about local things, as well as meeting other travellers from different states and countries.
My family loved this two bedroom cabin. It’s clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside as well, beautiful view. You can see sunrise from the porch. Every evening, there are five horses and a cute donkey eating grasses nearby. The town is small but has good food. We recommend breakfast at Rustler’s restaurant. We also liked Showdowns and RDK. People there are very nice. And it’s a short drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. We would definitely stay at the same place if we visit Bryce Canyon again.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a good sized bathroom. The bed was comfy and the host was kind enough to provide two waters, two granola bars, and two suckers in the shape of a Bryce Canyon Hoodoo. There was plenty of space for us to park our truck and side by side as well. The view from the hotel was beautiful! We enjoyed the red rock mountains outside and were able to ride our side by side into the mountains just up the road. I would love to stay here again!
Very good place to stay for Bryce Canyon visit. Around 20’ away from the park Visitor center. There is a restaurant next to the hotel where they play country music and it’s very nice. There is also a fire place outside the restaurant where you can enjoy some marshmallows, and it is a very American experience.
The around area of Tropic it’s very authentic too.
Everything! Chilling on the porch, the super comfortable bedrooms, cooking and having diner in the beautiful kitchen, the huge TV with smartphone connectivity, close to a supermarket, free parking on the property, …
Also the town Tropic is pleasant (nice coffee shop and restaurants).
It’s a 15 min drive to Bryce; ideal for watching the sunrise at the canyon.
Great BnB, well equipped and with a lovely family managing it. Thanks for the tip on doing the tropic trail (we combined it with a little bit of the queen's garden trail and then looped back with the horse path - great views without the crowds! Close to the park and there's also a good BBQ place in town
Was quiet and relaxed place to stay with a good variety of restaurants nearby. Nice sized rooms and adequate breakfast. Also close to Bryce canyon but far enough down not to be affected with the altitude sickness I experienced staying at the top
Great location in Tropic. Highly recommendable for those who want to be close to Bryce Canyon and enjoy a relaxed, private atmosphere. Great breakfast included. A great stay on our trip to the National Parks!
Convenient location to Bryce Nat. Park as well as stores and restaurants in Tropic. The hosts were great and the breakfasts were exceptional. The hosts were helpful on what other parks to see in the area.
Quiet, comfortable and clean, great location with Bryce Canyon close by, walkable to all Tropic has to offer. Good value for the price compared to other options.
