No-I really think you should not stay there unless you are looking for sex or drugs. Don’t take kids there. Actually, there is no legit reason to go there at all. If you do go there, you probably should never let your wife, girlfriend or boss know you were there.

Tarpon Springs has a wonderful sponge dock location that has many tourist things to do. Plenty of places to shop and eat even a boat ride if your wanting to enjoy the day on the water. Worst place I have ever stayed, advertising very misleading. Left after one night of three because of room condition and requested refund. Will be taking that up with booking.com. Apparently the locals all know it is a very shady hotel and I am not talking about the sun!

You can literally walk to the beach, the sponge docks, all the restaurants, and the quaint downtown shops. The Hibiscus House had every comfort of home. Plenty of room for a family or couples traveling together. We we able to eat breakfast there every morning and even some dinners. A big bonus was the washer and dryer ... didn’t’ have to haul dirty clothes home! The owners were very responsive if the need arose. We definitely plan to come back.

Beds were comfy. The pool area was one of the nicest I've seen in a hotel that isn't a resort. We came to see the sponge docks, it's about 10 minutes from there. I would stay there again.
