Didn't like anything about the property except for it being a new facility. Staff were very incompetent and refused to acknowledge mistakes that made these two nights miserable. I will never stay here again!!!

Starke is a nice, family friendly small town.
Starke is a nice, family friendly small town. There are good restaurants for breakfast but not many for dinner. The Mexican restaurant is really good if you like that type of food, as is the Thai restaurant downtown. The people are friendly and kind and the local theater has excellent prices on both tickets and concessions. There are a few festivals and fairs worth attending throughout the year and the town itself is safe with plenty of police and security. I particularly like Granny's and The Call Street Cafe before 3pm if you get hungry. The prices of both are reasonable with good food and service. This is not really a place for tourists as attractions are few but its a nice place to live. Starke is a Friday Night Lights kind of town but I have enjoyed the last 8 years here. It definitely grows on you. It is quiet, safe, and tranquil with good weather far enough away from the coasts to make it safer from storms than other parts of the state.

Terrible place.
Terrible place. Management not available and nothing resolved. Would like some way to be refunded at least half my money. I say half because we did sleep there but only because we had no other choice.

I went to Starke to visit the Florida International Rally and Motorsports Park, which is located just outside of town. :)
The FIRM is a fantastic place to have an incredible amount of fun! :)
I stayed at the Red Carpet Inn. :)
Breakfast at Grannie's is always a treat! :)
I spent one night. That was all I needed.
Great location for what we were doing. We were in the area for a basketball tourney and it was 2 miles from the gym.
Also, a great location to town (Starke). About a 10 minute ride, but that's fine for me. Nice and quiet. Far enough away, but close enough for trips to town.
TV is huge. Ceiling fans are nice. Softened water. Plenty of room. Washer and dryer are an excellent convenience. Huge covered porch/deck area.
I sometimes travel through Starke and I alway reserve at this Motel 6 because it’s one of the ones I prefer. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. You will find few bugs around due to it being in the country side but that’s anywhere if Florida in similar areas. I recommend this motel if you’re not looking to spend a lot for your stay.
We didn't have high expectations as other Red Carpet Inns we've visited haven't been very nice. This Red Carpet Inn in Starke, Florida, was spotlessly clean, had excellent mattresses, & was easy to find right in town. The price was excellent for the value, and we felt safe staying here. Would stay here again.
It was a wonderful place to stay. The young man at the desk even offered to help my husband bring his bicycle in. He was very professional and kind. Room was awesome..clean and very comfortable . Quiet. Great breakfast. This will be our stop on our way to Florida every year😁
The breakfast was not good enough. The price was too high for Starke, FL. Your competition in the same town charges 35-40% less. Your hotel is much newer and of course cleaner, however. The shower heads in all holiday inn now a days are fantastic.
This is a new property in Starke which is about 15-20 minutes from Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. It is clean, modern, and attractive. Everything was as expected of a Holiday Inn Express.
The hotel was older but the room was remodeled (mostly) and the property was well-maintained and clean. I loved the comfortable chair in the room and how large the floor plan was.
