The hotel bares the name of "Hotel & Spa", however, the actual spa service is extra. The hotel does have an outdoor pool which guests could use for free. However, it was impractical in the cold raining winter. The actual spa with the indoor pools, however aren't free. Guests have to pay $49 for a day pass. We was surprised to find out we had to pay extra for the spa pool. In addition, there was a waiting list for the pools and bath house, so, the service was not guaranteed if you are willing to pay. We wish the website would have that information.

Just an hour or so outside San Francisco, Sonoma is a picturesque city set among the vineyards in Northern California. It features a beautiful square with galleries, shops and restaurants. They often feature live music in the square. Great for a long weekend, the vineyards offer tours and tastings. There is also a wonderful cheese shop there. If you enjoy being active, don’t miss the hiking/biking trails in the area.

It is a quiet and over-looked town! MUST SEE! They have a cute downtown Sonoma Plaza, with a Visitor Bureau with free coupons (2 for 1 wine tasting), lots of cute and varied shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of museums and the Sonoma Mission right there. We visited Buena Vista, Gundlach Bundschu, and Jacuzzi wineries--ALL were beautiful! We had a great dining experience at Sonoma Grill and Bar in the back terrace.

Downtown Sonoma is a quaint town with cafes, galleries, a movie theater, and most importantly, two ice cream shops (we chose the Chocolate Cow). We also found a wonderful hike nearby called Sonoma Overlook in the downtown area. About 1.3 miles up for a beautiful view of the city.

The foods we tried were all delicious. The town square and park were quaint as well as the city itself. I loved the architecture of the homes in the downtown area. The area is very walkable and there were many unique shops.

If you like wine, this is the place for you.
If you like wine, this is the place for you. We were attending a wedding and on our downtime looked for places to hike and for other things to do. The hike we chose had no parking at the trailhead (?!) and it was hot so we gave up. There are cutesy shops in Sonoma, but, like cutesy shops everywhere, prices are inane. We enjoyed walking around the historical buildings in downtown Sonoma and learning about Gen. Vallejo. NO mosquitoes but not much to do if you don’t want to taste wine.
We did not eat breakfast there but at a darling and very good Sunflower Caffe across the street. Hotel oozes old time charm with the feel of 150 or so years ago, but, of course with all the modern amenities. Lobby charming and had free coffee available in the morning. There is a beautiful restaurant attached to the hotel which was VERY popular with hotel guests and non guests alike but it did not appear to be open for breakfast. Rooms are tiny but very well appointed. Worth it for the charm and location right on the town square.
Seven Branches is a beautiful property. It provided us the peaceful getaway we were desiring yet was within walking distance to the square.
Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and friendly. We loved the special little touches that really made this a unique stay and created beautiful memories.
The property was communicative before our stay and ensured we had the best experience. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner for Pizza and Pinot next door, at The General’s Daughter.
Amazing location close to everything in the main Sonoma square. I had no idea what to expect so being close was crucial. The host provided robes and hot tub towels which was so appreciated! I enjoyed every minute of my stay and wish it would have been longer. If I return to Sonoma valley, I’m only doing it through this perfect location. I was a solo traveler but will return with my husband.
We spent a very memorable two nights at 'An Inn to Remember'
A lovely room with a comfortable bed and luxurious sheets. We had a delightful deck on which to sit and enjoy drinks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. A perfect location too, as it was only a few steps from the square in central Sonoma. We would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast.
The hotel's appearance overall was attractive, with trees and plants surrounding the building and the inner pool area. The room was quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast choices were more than adequate. The location is walking distance from the square and from the events we attended. Having shops nearby was a plus.
We loved the location in the middle of Sonoma Plaza. There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel. But there are many dining choices and wine bars in the plaza that you can walk to. There is also a pool on the property, which was refreshing after our wine event.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again.
The room was cozy and very clean. It is thoughfully equiped with a coffee maker, extra towels for the spa/fitness center/swimming pool, snack bars etc.
Breakfast was awsome. The best I have ever eaten in hotels from same kind.
The compound is very nicely kept with green little garden and a parking lot.
Sitting area outside was so nice under the cherry tree in bloom. Roses were in full bloom also. Restaurant cafe next door for breakfast and lunch ( closed Mondays) had good food. Sonoma town and square only a few miles away. Situated in a family zone and the town was friendly.
It was a very comfortable room in a boutique hotel and the continental breakfast was very nice. It was delivered to the room at 8 AM. The Inn is tucked away in the residential area of Sonoma so it is quiet, but only a few blocks from the downtown shopping and eating area.
A super convenient location for visiting wineries (Arrowood, Imagery, Abbotts Passage, Anaba) and the town square for the Farmers Market. The room had everything we needed and had a cute boutique retro vibe. Seemed the best value for the area.
Location, parking, polite and efficient staff, fruit and fresh cooked breakfast every morning (thank you girls!), cleanliness, the patio(s), wifi, and the complimentary "afternoon tea Sonoma style" (it's wine :)
The location of this small hotel is ideal if you want to be close to town. The Sonoma Plaza is a great family friendly area and safe to enjoy day or night. We love the choices of eateries, wineries and more.
Best host ever. So helpful & kind. Superb location 2 mins from Sonoma plaza. I will come back just to have a chat with mom & daughter hosts again 💕 Quiet & well equipped tiny home. Thx for a lovely stay.
Lovely historic building located on the beautiful town square of Sonoma. Perfect location to nearby restaurants, wineries etc. Quaint property which was very comfortable.
The hotel rooms were very roomy and comfortable...location was great and breakfast a good variety for grab abd go. It was a close drive to the wineries we wanted to visit
