The staff were so hospitable : especially the manageress and jennie the helper at breakfast. Such lovely, hospitable people. Made us feel so at home.
This place is absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t send my own worst enemies to stay at this place. It was absolutely filthy. Upon walking into the first room we were given, there was a huge brown stain on the bed. When given a second room to try, the smoke detector was completely missing from the wall, the bathroom was dirty and my daughters room next door to us smelled like weed and had remnants of it on the dresser. The pool was an emerald green color, there was trash all around the property. When we went to see if we could get our money back, the girl at the front desk called her manager and the manager said she’d be getting to work at 11pm to talk to us (it was 9:3pm), and we now needed to find a new place to stay so we didn’t have time to wait 1.5 hours for her to come in. She refused to talk with us on the phone. We asked the girl at the front desk what her managers name was and she said Stephanie, then we asked for her last name so we could call her the next day to get a refund and we were told “she doesn’t like to give that out”. How unprofessional is that, that the manager refused to give her name out. We weee thankfully able to find a clean place to stay down the road. I will never visit this place again and I hope no one else puts themselves through this mess either.

If you have kids playing basketball at the rocky mount...
If you have kids playing basketball at the rocky mount sports center complex this is the best place. The facility is only about 10 minutes down the road.
We could go play games in the morning, go back to the hotel and relax, then go back and play more games.

We got in late and were upgraded to another room.
We got in late and were upgraded to another room. Maybe because someone needed the 2 queen beds. 1 king bed was great for us. Hotel was very clean. Nice help. Even the maids asked how our stay went. More than I exspected. After staying at another hotel up the street many times we decided to try Tru. We will be coming back here in the future.

They were two elevators one was not working and the other...
They were two elevators one was not working and the other one fit three people comfortably, but took forever. Thank God we were on the second floor I just took the stairs. There was a huge party going on with loud music right off the lobby downstairs and the restaurant attached is not part of the Hilton it is privately owned but the food was great. That was the only good thing about this day. We didn’t realize that the filthy room was so disgusting but after driving from New York all day, we decided just to sleep I have pictures that have been uploaded I will never ever ever stay in. This location again is the most disgusting room I’ve ever been in.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. The breakfast, which was included, was very good. All the staff were friendly and acted professionally. It had a nice office for travelers to use. It had a nice fitness area and beautiful pool. The pool is currently under repair but I didn't want to use it so no an issue for me.

Check-in was very quick.
Check-in was very quick.
The room was clean, spacious and with a full bathroom.
The bed was very comfortable.
Good breakfast, expecially the cheesy eggs.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel for overnight stays..
The staff was very friendly. It was definitely not a Hilton, but we didn’t pay what we w old for a Hilton. It was clean & comfortable. We traveled with our dog so we were happy to have a nice area to walk her. The hotel is situated back from the Main Street so we didn’t hear traffic which is a big plus. Also they did provide a breakfast with cold cereal, bread(several kinds) small sausage patties, eggs, juice, waffles & coffee& tea. And if you don’t like the choices there you can walk next door to Dennys
I really liked the location. I was in town for a concert that weekend and the sports complex was right behind the hotel. It was actually in walking distance. We were next door to a grocery store and there was a gas station and a shopping center on the other side of the highway. Everything is walking distance.
The lady at the front desk was amazing and very helpful. We came into this hotel desperately looking for somewhere to stay the night after showing up to a previously booked reservation at another hotel and finding out that their whole staff had walked out and there was no way to even get into the hotel.
I liked the cleanliness of the hotel, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the beds are super comfortable, the black out blinds are great, I had a quiet sleep both times I've visited, and it looks like a nice updated hotel which is a change of pace given the competition in the area.
We didn’t realize that it was a pet friendly hotel and we didn’t have a pet.
I asked for a non pet room but it seems a bit smelly anyway. Our fault for not checking better. They have a few restaurants nearby and we picked this Mexican restaurant and it was fresh and delicious!
I love the new renovations of the hotel! They also have “Dove” products for the bathroom-which I’ve never seen before, so that was an excellent usage! Staff were somewhat friendly. Very quiet area! I saw many dogs with other guests, so they are pet friendly!
The breakfast buffet was better than any others we have had at other hotels. The buffet area was very clean & easy for several people to access at once. Most importantly, all food choices were very good!
Hotel is very clean. The hotel room was very spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable The breakfast was very good and the staff was very pleasant. We would stay here again.
The front desk staff was really nice. Location is ok. Overall, the hotel is a bit dated but needs improvement with cleanliness (see what we didn't like).
