Room very scarcely furnished. Nothing provided for kitchen use such as dishes, silverware, pots, pans, but you could buy them. Ridiculous. Front office almost never staffed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!! Total thumbs down!

The Ogden area is beautiful.
The Ogden area is beautiful. Wasatch Mountains are different than others and interesting to look at. For us it was easy to get together with family and get to an appointment in Salt Lake City with the closeness to the freeway. Many places to eat, with lots of good food. This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible. I would not recommend anyone going there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy, and the staff did not care. The room was clean, the hallways were clean, the breakfast, while standard fare for a hot breakfast, was plentiful, hot and easy to serve. Everything was well organized and clean considering people were serving themselves. The check-in clerk was extremely nice and helpful. We booked mainly to go to the Death Cab for Cuties concert as part of the Twilight series and was so happy to find out it was just a quick walk from the hotel. The hotel staff was also very nice and breakfast was great. The firepit outside was a nice treat. We would recommend this hotel to anyone for its value and location. It is a great value!
