Lusk is a clean town but unfortunately, the lockdowns hit hard and there were only three places to eat - pizza, Subway, and a bar and grill that allowed smoking. We had calzones at the pizza place and the food was great. We had ice cream at an antique shop and that was great, too. There were not a lot of shops still operating. There were only three hotel options and we chose the highest rated one, but would go with the Best Western next time because the breakfast they served was so good. Probably would plan not to stop here if possible but it worked for us on this trip.

Decent place to stop if you’re driving through eastern Wyoming, but I wouldn’t make a destination out of it. The cafe (outpost) down the street was terrible, but we ended up there because the pizza kitchen was out of order and our kids weren’t allowed in the pub. Limited amenities, but probably more than many other towns in the area. Seems safe with nice locals. Would stay again if we found ourselves in the area.
Clean, large, well maintained. Breakfast was unbelievable. Chuck wagon environment right down to the trail cookie preparing omelets by order. Tin cans and plates. 2 flavors of waffles.fiesta fixings for omelets. I had jalapeño, mushrooms, onions, green peppers sausage and cheese. Would have had tomatoes had they not had fresh salsa to top. Never have I ever experienced a hotel breakfast like that at 45 years old.
Traveling with my two sons who really enjoyed the size of the room and the quality of the WiFi connection. They are late sleepers so we did not do breakfast (which I usually enjoy!). The staff is so cheerful and helpful. High probability we will come back to Lusk next summer, and if we do the Townhouse is where we'll stay!
Perfect place to stop between Boulder/Denver to the Black Hills.
Breakfast was awesome. The French toast was perfect. Sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes really hit the spot. In addition to orange and apple juice they had zero calorie fruit flavored water.
The family run historic hotel was great.
The full hot breakfast with personally made omelettes were the best we have ever had at a hotel free breakfast. The room was older but very clean. The beds were very comfortable.
The woman was super friendly. The room big and clean. Amazing shower. Breakfast included at the other hotel which was excellent food. Loved this hotel and strongly recommend.
The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was newly remodeled and had everything we wanted. I would highly recommend the hotel .
tVery nice room, the staff welcomes you as if you were a family member, exceptional breakfast with homemade omeletts, nice swimming pool. I strongly recommend this hotel
Room was very comfortable. The carpet was old and needed replacing but still seemed clean. Nice location in Lusk, great enclosed pool although we didn’t use it.
