Breakfast was good, with OJ and great coffee.. very nice to have breakfast delivered. The Inn is very unique, very old and each room has a different theme. We stayed in the Gypsy room, again beautifully done and unique. The bed was a Queen inside a covered wagon, and the hand painted walls were a work of art.

Spacious, very clean room, very comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave a big plus. Bathroom also very clean.
We had a nice, satisfying breakfast on site before driving to Solvang, for our personal tour (10 min away from Buellton)

Tiny town...not much to offer of interest to us. Can't believe there was NO Mexican cantina in town! That would have made it worth the trip. We do recommend Full of Life Flatbread for a meal and/or a drink!

Clean and basic.
Clean and basic. Great proximity to a fabulous coffee place across the street and Bell's Tavern for a splashy dinner. The floors of the room are oddly plywood and some of the (minimal) furniture was rough hewn as well, which was kind of odd. There's also a cute little wine garden up the street that's a nice way to spend the afternoon - and Los Olivos is a short drive.

Very small, one street downtown; however, all the restaurants I went to (Pico and Plenty's on Bell) were stellar. Pico has amazing food and a great back patio. Most spots are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Skyview felt like a very inclusive spa getaway from Los Angeles. I love that the town of Los Alamos is so small and quirky. My boyfriend and I loved every minute of our stay. We spent 2 hours in our car in parking lot at Skyview just viewing the stars. People were friendly and felt like a little oasis tucked away in wine country. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for relaxation and beautiful weekend getaway.

The hotel is cute, hipster in a good way and staff was quick to help with any difficulties. Rooms are bare bones, but beds were real comfy and rooms were clean.
Within walking distance are several local restaurants that serve up delicious food and a few small shops, highlighting the small, sleepy
quality of Los Alamos.
Near by is a beautiful lake, quaint towns specializing in local wines, a few wineries, more quality dining and some fantastic road-trip landscape vistas.
A lesser-known gemstone in central California!
My boyfriend and I brought my sister and her boyfriend for a night stay at Skyview Los Alamos and we had the best trip. The Skyview is located in a beautiful, relaxing setting overlooking vineyards right off the highway. The restaurant food is delicious for both breakfast and dinner and the heated pool is a great place to hang out and relax during the day. We also really enjoyed the complementary bikes they had to rent which we took into the cute town of Los Alamos. I hope to stay here again for longer than just a few nights.
Los Alamos is a tiny town and this hotel is essentially right across / in walking distance of almost anywhere you’d like to go! So cute and quaint, both the town as well as the hotel, and lots of nice fellow guests that we enjoyed meeting at the fire pit over a relaxed glass of wine. Easy parking right in front of your room. Rooms itself are super cute and staff is super kind and helpful! Def. recommend heading to Norman’s for dinner or putting snatching a reservation well in advanced for Bell’s.
Very clean and in good repair. Simple, minimalist decor of good quality, reminiscent of ranch-house style. Soft and supportive mattress at a comfortable height. A few quaint touches, like push-button light switches. Very effective cooling with ductless system. Lawn with big trees for lounging in shade, enjoying beverage from the cute little Bar Alamo on premises. Good location in town of Los Alamos.
Such a fun vibe, very pet friendly and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a patio room which was great for morning cappuccino lounging and relaxing in the evening. Although the common areas offered privacy during our stay too. Try the bikes, that was a fun amenity and the pool area was very relaxing. Would come back!
Very comfortable bed, nicely decorated room, the terrace with fire pit was very special too since it was still a bit chilly at night. The staff went over and beyond to make us feel welcome.
We also loved Los Alamos town (5 mins by bike which you can borrow from the hotel), especially Full of Life Flatbread!
The hotel was cute and nicely redone. The decor is a lot of plywood and white/cream tones with a desert vibe. It was perfect for a short stay and had everything I needed. Very nice outdoor spaces with a wine bar and good vibes. The staff was super friendly and I had a lovely time.
Beautiful boutique hotel! The attention to detail was amazing, loved the aesthetic. Very comfortable rooms, loved the outdoor patio and firepit in our room. Food from Norman was excellent (note: large portions) and the staff were friendly. Would stay here again.
Arriving to this hilltop Motel was a unique experience. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the restaurant Norman. The hotel was nicely designed with little touches of continuity throughout. Bed was very comfortable and bath had great amenity.
The staff at the Alamo is excellent!! They helped with a sort of solution to the need to hang a few things to shake out the wrinkles before a special event. We loved hanging at the hotel bar at the end of the night playing board games.
Alamo Motel is perfectly placed in the center of Los Alamos. The outside spaces were cozy and inviting. The water pressure in the shower was a bit like a human power-wash, but my party decided it was a thumbs-up.
I love this property! Excellent value, lovely minimal design, clean, comfortable and the staff is always friendly. The location is absolutely perfect. This is my favorite hotel in the area!
This place is a well appointed and reasonable choice when visiting the Santa Ynez, Los Alamos area. It was quaint, cute and clean. We’d definitely visit again and highly recommend it.
We loved visiting this amazing hotel.
It’s so unique and beautiful. We are definitely coming back. I now want to stay in every single suite as they all different:))
Great vibe and location! This was my second time staying at Alamo Motel and it definitely wasn't the last time. Really great place! The beds are amazing too :)
