Holly Springs was a very quaint historical town.
Holly Springs was a very quaint historical town. I enjoyed a morning walk looking at the Civil War era homes, located near a local college. There is a small town city center with a large courthouse and local shoppes - but we did not venture there during our stay. The area near the interstate had plenty of eating and shopping choices.

Marshall Steakhouse (in Holly Springs) has the best steak...
Marshall Steakhouse (in Holly Springs) has the best steak and awesome country atmosphere! Reservations are highly recommended. Our server Jeanette was amazing! Even the owner came to check on us & told us more about the business & plans for expansion. Cannot wait to go back! Also liked staying at Heritage Inn B & B, which was peaceful & has the friendliest host! It was only about a 9 minute drive from Marshall Steakhouse. We also enjoyed seeing the historic homes in the area! Not much else to do there, but is only about a half hour drive from Memphis.
There was no breakfast. While the manager/owner was very nice, this was a slum hotel. It was ugly, poorly maintained, what you would expect to find in the worst section of any town or city. At least the air conditioning worked. Even the front window of the very small reception lobby had a broken window with tape across it. It is not a place that I could ever recommend to anyone. It would be a struggle to give it a one star rating.
This is a lovely restored building in the historical district of Holly Springs. Rooms and facilities are like staying in your great-grandmother's house but with wifi. The staff was friendly and worked extra-hard to accommodate an unexpectedly large number of guests.
Nothing to like, worst hotel we have stayed at for years. Although. Budget hotel it should be clean, coffee machine should work, milk should be available at breakfast
