Cozy Getaway with Ocean View and Private Entrance!, hotel in Gualala

A recently renovated guest house situated in Gualala, Cozy Getaway with Ocean View and Private Entrance! features a garden.

This place is a perfect oceanview oasis! The view was truly breathtaking, I was able to spot the whale's migrations in the evening. The room was spotless and impeccable, the bathroom was so spacious. The bed was so big and comfortable that I had one of my best sleeps ever. The location was ideal for beach access and exploring the area. At night time I saw the Milky Way just from Alina's deck! Thanks Alina for such an unforgettable experience! I can't wait to return here again!

The Sea Ranch Lodge, hotel in Gualala

Situated in Sea Ranch, The Sea Ranch Lodge has a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel features family rooms. The nearest airport is Charles M.

This is one of the loveliest properties we stayed in. Great staff. Easy check in process. Great room with a view of the water and sunset. Bottles of water and great brewed coffee. Bottle of wine was a nice addition. No TV meant we can zone out and just do more out door activities. Our room was kept clean. The in house restaurant was also great! It was a beautiful and peaceful piece of heaven in California.

Love the ocean view, love the scenery of the area.

Love the ocean view, love the scenery of the area. It's not too far for us but enough to feel like a getaway. The bakery and pizza next to the grocery store was great. I would have liked to try more places but we liked staying at our place and saved some $. We did dine at Cove Azul which was nice and Mother's Day brunch at Sea Ranch Lodge was excellent!

Gualala is a beautiful small town on the northern California coast with great fine dining and comfortable lodging. The the is part of what locals have nicknamed the coast's "banana belt" because of its uniquely mild micro-climate. Ocean winds tend to keep the fog offshore, so on days when other coastal areas might be foggy, Gualala often offers sunny skies.

The road to get there was very narrow and took a long time to arrive, it was a long drive for just a weekend… we spent two of our days just going and coming home and only had one day there to enjoy the area… if we go again we would plan more time..

Pleasant little hotel with friendly staff.

Pleasant little hotel with friendly staff. It was really nice that they provided a list of restaurants for the surrounding area, with times and what they served! Just a great find, that I found using Google Maps while planning a route.

Sitting on the balcony having our morning coffee and watching the sunset in the evening was wonderful. Gualala is a great location for exploring the surrounding area. Point Arena and several beaches are a short drive away.

Gualala is a beautiful little sleepy town right on the Ocean...

Gualala is a beautiful little sleepy town right on the Ocean. A short drive to the regional park just south of town allows access to a beautiful beach where the river meets the ocean. There are adequate restaurant options within the town of Gualala but not many. Shopping is also minimal. There is very little if any "night life". It's a nice getaway for a coupe nights, but unless you are ok to drive around the area, there isn't much to do right within the town of Gualala. My only real complaint is that there is no walking access to the beach from town, you must drive to the regional park to access the beach.

We came down from Oregon for a family event. We arrived late (after midnite) but the owners left a key for us and check in was smooth. Awesome people. Convenient location. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, beach and the gualala river. The morning we were leaving my father ( who has dementia) wandered off and was lost for 3 hours in gualala. The office helped me to contact the sherrif office and called around town to help me locate him and gave us extra time to check out .

Spectacular location right on the beach. Are unit felt like a tiny apartment and nicely furnished for comfort. Large spacious bathroom good for two people. I love having a microwave and refrigerator so we could make some snacks. Bed was super comfortable and I travel a lot for work so I know hotel beds. Plenty warm in the room as there was a space heater and also thermostat so we were very cozy. Good towels

It's a very charming hotel and the location is fantastic. You can park your car in front of your room and the room was small but cozy. We liked the fact that the Surf Inn is the second oldest hotel in Gold Beach and the owner was so nice. She's very service-oriented and flexible.

We were thrilled to have an ocean view room. It was charming hotel with ocean theme bedspread. Breakfast was a to go bag but had yummy things in it. We were happy with the room - two beds and a futon. Great for a family.

Great location, beautiful. Manager was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable. We were told that the property originally started as one of Motel 6's first location in the 60s, when the price was $6/might.
