It has to be the most convenient place from which to see the park. The town has everything you might need to facilitate a good hike or even spend days in the forest. Don't stay here. Blankets in one room smelled like urine. Pillows in 2nd room smelled like urine. Continental Breakfast was disappointing. Coffee pot empty. No hot water for the hot chocolate packets. The only thing they had out and available was bread for toast and cereal. If it wasn't late and I wasn't so tired I would have checked out and gone to another hotel. The only positive was the staff was nice.

I liked nothing of the 2 night stay there I had to switch rooms due to roaches being everywhere in my room The mattress was very uncomfortable the service for extra towels was non existent or even trash bags I myself will never stay at this destination. If you go there good luck!

My son and I were in town for an R-MA tour, and needed to iron clothes after our trip in. While no iron or board in the room, I inquired at the office and they happily obliged. Don't judge this hotel by the outside. Owners clearly care as they were busy working it during our stay. I'm sure the past year has been tough on small biz owners like these folks so I give them a lot of credit for sticking with it, and working to improve their property.JimUnited States
