Exceeded Expectations! "Country Inn" was sleek and modern, spacious, with many small amenities that made the stay more valuable! Unexpected: extra roominess and sofa bed, lighted makeup nook with chair and smaller mirror too, spacious dining/breakfast area, 24/7 coffee, nice pool area, attractive accommodations, separate business center, outdoor seating with tables and chairs. Dining: The lady who runs the breakfast is a gem! Food: Good options, including for gluten-sensitive, including eggs and meat. Would stay here again!

I loved the room...the TV was awesome, and I loved the handicap accessible shower. Breakfast was a bit skimpy, but okay if you like waffles. No meat was offered. I loved that the hotel was right next to Cracker Barrel, so we could walk there for supper. We were hauling some farm equipment on a 16 ft trailer and we found parking at the hotel and didn't want to have to drive somewhere with the trailer in tow, so we walked to Cracker Barrel. Very easy access from Interstate 75 near to local gas stations. Overall, a positive experience!

We stayed in Findlay to enjoy a trip to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation down the road in Carey, OH. Choosing the Hancock was a happy accident. The little town of Findlay was also a wonderful, happy surprise. The town itself is clean and the downtown area has various little shops that are interesting and staffed with friendly and happy people. The whole stay was like a visit to a real life Hallmark Movie town.

Findlay is my hometown so I have seen it change. There are really cute restaurants now that are not chains. The South Main Street houses continue to be a must-see. .. gingerbread and Victorian. The Findlay University has a children's book illustrator exhibit which is permanent and outstanding. Near the Donnell Middle School is a beautiful old park with a pond. The city park with swimming pool borders the Blanchard River. Findlay was the home of Tell Taylor
who wrote "Down By the Old Mill Stream" based on this river.

As far as Findlay goes, check out local events.
As far as Findlay goes, check out local events. We took a guided first quarter moon hike at Litzenberg Memorial Woods at dusk that was wonderful. There are several parks where you can walk trails and enjoy nature. If you're in the mood for an expertly crafted cocktail, head to The Bourbon Affair. They have a full bar, and I love the atmosphere in this place. It has charm and character. It's retro-themed with the staff in button up white shirts with garters on the sleeves or wearing a dress you would have seen in dance halls in the days when swing music dominated, and swing is exactly what you hear coming over the speakers in the bar, along with crooners like Frank Sinatra etc. In the mood for dessert? We've been going to Dietsch Brothers for years everytime we pass Findlay on our way through Ohio. They have excellent ice cream, and if you're in the mood for chocolate, they have everything under the sun. As far as the downtown area goes, just walking through town and looking in shop windows and admiring the facades of the old buildings and taking in the architecture is enjoyable. Check out Hancock County Courthouse. Incredible! If you're going to Findlay on a holiday weekend, I recommend that you check to make sure attractions and businesses you want to visit are open as we found that half of the businesses were closed or closed early on Labor Day weekend.

The facility is clean and inviting with a bowl of apples and cookies, coffee and tea available in the lobby. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. The staff member who checked us in was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is excellent...close to restaurants, gas stations and shopping plazas. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.
Disliked · Cannot think of anything.
Everything was great, Except the bath tub was filthy! Rest of the bath and the room were very clean- but the tube was disgusting. In spite of the of being short staffed, the Gal working the front desk came up and cleaned it. This was So appreciated. She was professional and pleasant even though she was not part of the hotel housekeeping. Really went the extra mile. The hotel was almost fully booked and the front desk super busy. Corporate really needs to support you staff much more. In order to keep this type of quality employees!!
We had a great stay Ravi checked us in with a smile and efficiently we were a late arrival so just wanted to head to our room so appreciate that check in was fast.
Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices.
Elizabeth took care of making sure that everyone had what they needed and checked on us and other guests.
she brightened the room with her happy and positive attitude.
This was our third night staying in different hotels and by far our best would highly recommend.
Breakfast was not included much to my surprise.
However upon our late arrival their kitchen was still open and we enjoyed a very good bowl of tomato bisque soup and a good cheese tray.
The staff and check in manager were very accommodating. Appeared to be a very well run hotel unlike the Hilton in Locust Grove , Ga.
The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. I loved having the steakhouse and the bar right there. The location is amazing. I have never been to Findlay and we fell in love with the little town and the downtown was so fun. We will be back for sure.
Friendly staff and for a three star hotel really everything you need - big tv, fridge, coffee machine, plenty of towels, cosy mattress...
Very friendly cleaning staff (Tony) who even left a message on the bed - very friendly and unexpected!
The hotel was really nice and modern. Excellent breakfast was offered. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Will stay here again next year on our return trip to Michigan. Also, the location was great. Just off the I75 corridor.
The hotel is beautiful, quiet and clean. Our room did not that hotel smell when we opened our room door. Location was within waking distance of our event. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Price was ok i decided that i didn't want to stay i didn't tell front desk i just went elsewhere i never got a chance to see any room at all i saw enough when i drove up to hotel.
Clean, comfortable, and most of all the best value in Findlay Ohio. Add in a wonderful staff and you know where you want to stay every time you are in the Findlay area.
The location was perfect. Easy to get back on the I75.
