In the middle of rainforest country, the perfect place to detach, unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of tourist towns. Super convenient if visiting the volcanoes national park, only a 35 min drive up the road. I also loved how the facilities were super basic and powered off a generator as it added to the feel of being in the middle of nowhere. Amazing little boutique hotel in the rain forest. It was quaint but well cared for. Great option to allow you to spend a full day exploring Volcanoes National Park and then have an early start on the drive to Kona (so you can stop for lots of adventures along the way). We loved our stay.

The house is in the forest, the room is big, and there are a lot of fruits prepared every day. If I have the chance, I will live there again.

The room was open with louvered windows, letting in the natural breezes. We each had our own bed to sleep in. The outdoor shower was very refreshing, which we enjoyed very much. The bathrooms were kept clean. Receiving a complementary coffee was nice. We appreciated getting to know some of the residents.
