My experience is that crime is expected after discussing the break in of my vehicle another guest told me that he was warned by the hotel staff to not leave anything that might be stolen in his vehicle. I assumed that paying for parking would add some security but I was wrong. The Hotel clerk did provide me with a plastic bag to clean the glass from my smashed passenger side window. Federal Way is a city that has outgrown its infrastructure with a population and business boom. I grew up here, so I was returning to visit family. There are lots of options for shopping, outdoor recreation, and is a good location for easy access to Seattle and Tacoma.

Breakfast was terrible -- cold muffin, dry orange, mediocre coffee and sweetened yoghurt -- no hot breakfast these days. The bar was congenial. I wish I'd known about the hot tub and pool -- didn't notice these in the Booking.com review so take note! Beds very comfortable, shower decent and very clean everywhere.
