Admiralty Inn & Suites - a Red Collection Hotel, hotel in Falmouth

Admiralty Inn & Suites - a Red Collection Hotel in Falmouth is positioned 1.4 mi from both Cape Cod beaches. Complimentary WiFi is accessible in public areas of the property.

We live on Martha's Vineyard for three months every year, but also have family on Cape Cod, and as far north as Manchester, NH and Portland, Me. Falmouth is one of our favorite towns and we stay over there from time to time en route elsewhere. When overnighting in Falmouth we invariably stay at the Admiralty Inn. The price is good, the rooms comfortable, breakfasts good and access to restuarants and shopping excellent. We'll be back.

Falmouth Inn, hotel in Falmouth

This Massachusetts hotel, just a 4-minute drive from Surf Drive Beach, features an indoor pool. Every room at Falmouth Inn offers satellite TV with HBO.

Calling the breakfast underwhelming is the most favorable way to describe it. As for quiet I unfortunately was next door to some very loud guests especially at 6 am.

Traveling with my son, they accommodated us in a room on the first floor, apparently with a family with children and a pet upstairs who did not allow us to sleep for two nights. I really wouldn't repeat this experience

Falmouth is an adorable little town, giving us a great taste of what Cape Cod is all about. Our lodging at the Frederick William House was the icing on the cake. Jeanette and Fiona were the most wonderful hosts, making our visit more special. Totally will return!!

We had a wonderful visit to Falmouth.

We had a wonderful visit to Falmouth. We spent time at various beaches, Nobska Lighthouse, Woods Hole, The Knob, Spohr Gardens, and Main Street. The shopping, dining, and natural beauty of the area made for a very pleasant little getaway.

The restaurant was only open for Breakfast!

The restaurant was only open for Breakfast! It was closed for lunch and dinner. The pool was not open!! There was no water or air conditioning in the gym. They did not have water in the rooms, because they said Falmouth does not allow plastic container, yet the vending machines did - so we bought our water for our room. They said that we could buy canned water at the front desk!! We were so disappointed when we received an email informing us about the closure of restaurant and pool the day before we left for our vacation with our grandchildren. We couldn't find another hotel during that week close to the Falmouth Curling Tournament that my son-in-law was performing!!! It was not a very nice vacation.

Went to Grew's Pond, which is public access and free.

Went to Grew's Pond, which is public access and free. A freshwater beach, small but lovely with small kids. Other beaches are private or need non-resident sticker fees. Had a great Mexican lunch (gets crowded though, be prepared to wait for a table) at Anejo on Main St. Falmouth is also the stop for a Martha's Vineyard Ferry and I would definitely recommend staying there on the Cape.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedroom tastefully decorated. The location is on a busy highway, although there is a good walking track behind the accommodation into Fairhaven town and if you cross the busy road there is a park with a lake and small beach. It is expensive accommodation. I felt the host was under a lot of pressure to serve breakfast as everyone seemed to arrive at once. Perhaps employ someone else as well at that time.

I loved the colors and decor of the room. Having wine glasses in the room was a very nice touch. My husband and I were impressed by the continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the check in process was quick. Our room was even ready early. We only used 2 towels but I liked having extra ones in the basket. Something you don't find with big chain hotels anymore.

The bedroom was huge...can't complain for the size of our bedroom. Beds were comfortable, from the mattress to the bed sheets. The living room was bright and nicely decorated. Bathroom is a decent size, although the light/fan is very noisy....just use the other light (sink). Overall it is a well maintain hotel both outside and inside.

Lovely old-school motor lodge. Room was meticulously maintained and housekeeping was superb. Beautiful pool and great location. We are very familiar with Falmouth and needed to be there for one night, so this place was perfect. It even had a dedicated parking spot in front of our room.

This of course is not a luxury hotel, but it met all of my expectations. It was clean...especially the bathroom. It had tv, refrigerator, outlets by the bed for cell, make up remover pads, as well as a coffee pot. We only stayed the night since we were mostly touring the area.
