ESTES PARK IS OUR SECOND HOME, it’s beautiful and very peaceful. So much to see and do. Love the roaming elk and deer. Must visit The Stanley Hotel and take a tour. Plenty of restaurants and shopping available. We visit at least twice a year. It would be a dream to live here

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather was sunny, yet cold and quite windy. There was an almost 20 degree Farenheit temperature difference when coming from Denver. The drive from Denver to Estes Park is an awesome experience in itself. From Lyon, you start to drive up on a windy road surrounded by mountains on both sides. It goes from 5000ft to 7500ft. The drive is very beautiful and once you climbed up Rt. 36, you start to descend just a bit and then, you come around a curve and there lays, in a valley, Estes Park with a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow tipped mountains. Estes Park is a small town with a main street, lots of unique stores, a unique looking movie theater, and many restaurants. There is a Safeway and Dollar Tree and I don't think that there are any other grocery stores there. Estes Park is also very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the home of the famous "Stanley" Hotel, which was used in the movie "The Shining". We also drove around in the surrounding area and found a few great roads that lead to parks and trails. I have truly enjoyed my 4 day stay in Estes Park and hope to be back soon.

Off-season, a great mountain town next to the Rocky Mountains. Enough stuff to do and keep busy for our trip! Ate at Rock Inn, Casa Colina and Hunters Chop House, all fun places. Getting around was pretty easy off-season, though there's a large parking lot near the entrance of Elkorn street.

the location was prefect for close to downtown. if stream at home bring you streaming accounts with you for whatever you watch. A lot of rod construction going on with our stay but still can get around pretty easy. i liked the coffee maker in cabin. fresh ground beans never had that before
We had to book a room last minute and were glad to find one available at the Quality Inn because all of Estes Park was practically booked. The hotel was located close to Rocky Mountain National Park which was perfect since we had to get up early the next morning. The staff was super friendly and we had a great view of the trees and mountains. The hotel had a nice, homey feel to it which we loved and the bed was awesome! The free breakfast was convenient and good.
Beautiful location within a stroll of town. The front of house team are friendly and helpful, the housekeeping team are thorough. The hotel’s location by the river is delightful and the little touches make it homely, lots of seating by the river, popcorn and toasted marshmallows in the evenings.
The room was a great size for my solo travel. The bed and pillows were comfortable and needed after a long day of hiking. The walkability to the downtown was great, and it was a short drive to all the hiking my heart desired. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Estes Park.
It was quiet and quaint, and such a pleasure to stay at! Todd was an excellent host, and he made the experience more welcoming. We loved the room and the service that was offered and even showed us the best ways to get around estes park and how to do the activities we had planned.
Loved the location - close to Downtown Estes Park, could see and hear the river from the balcony, saw multiple elk on the property. Staff was super friendly and you can rent movies and games which was a plus. It was also nice to get breakfast before heading into the park.
Husband stated, “best hotel yet!!” The room gave a cozy, cabin feel. I usually do not go for hotels with outdoor room access, but I would definitely stay here again. Quiet area, very clean, dish network available in rooms. The shower facilities were very nice/updated.
I love the town of Estes Park so much! I have come twice, the first time for the Elk Fest, and this time for leisure, but it also happened to be the Elk Fest! The people are so wonderful and the town is so clean and lovely! I cannot wait to come back!
