Escondido has a vibrant downtown area with plenty of shopping and dining choices. One of my favorite places to dine is O'Sullivan's, an Irish pub-style restaurant with traditional Irish fare. Also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including hiking, tennis, pickleball, a once-a-week farmer's market, and an art gallery with many events throughout the year as well as monthly poetry readings and open mic. Public transportation is readily available, mostly buses. Also a large regional mall with numerous dining establishments on the property.AAnonymous - 2.0Scored 2.0

Escondido was a nice place to visit.
Escondido was a nice place to visit. The parks were beautiful and the weather was warm. I had an amazing massage at Zen Massage and a wonderful dinner at Maiko Sushi. The people in town were very friendly.

1) I short my trip by one night because I can’t stay in that filthy room . 2) my toilet wash clogged by the previous tenant, I call frond desk to take care of it and no body sow up .!!! No leftovers from the previous guest. The pool not to small ,not to big. Chairs by the pool and close to mini mart and small coffee shop. It's in a not so populated area. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels that did not come near. They even called me to confirm my reservation on my way. There's no breakfast but like I said it's next door to a coffee shop
